"Nottingham's oldest and best loved independent cinema. Doors open 15 minutes before the first performance. Adult tickets are £6.95 Children/Students/Seniors are £5.00 and a Family ticket is £20.00"
We loved it here, glad that we chose this cinema over the other ones. Cheap tickets, cheap popcorn, clean, lovely atmosphere and not too busy. The only negative is that we overheard the lady at the till gossiping about us that we took "too long" deciding which flavour of popcorn to get less than 10 seconds. Regardless, really enjoyed it and we are planning on visiting again.
Super cute cinema with friendly staff Really enjoyed it. Quaint retro feel to it too and served great cup of tea! Only downfall Is no parking but not a chore really just had a bit of a walk.
My favourite cinemas in the whole wide world... And have been since 1994. Nottingham one has real charm. Grantham and Corby are modern and give the multiplexs a run for their money in terms of comfort and sound. All this for a fraction of the price elsewhere. I also like that it's a local business. Customer service is generally great, with well informed staff who love cinema. My only down side would be that they don't offer a subscription. I take my kids at least a couple of times a month but would go more if we could get a subscription. Thank you for many years of great film experiences.
Good movie halls. They have smaller and more vintage style seating arrangements than most cinemas these days. Watched the movie 'Smile' here, and it was a pretty good experience!
Fantastic cinema, lots of screens, the new up and coming films, childrens cheap matinées on a weekend and during school holidays. The prices are Fantastic. Food is lovely, good choice brilliant deals. A lovely cinema if your with friends, on you own or with family, an all round brilliant experience. Staff very polite and friendly x
I have worked at savoy cinema for almost 6 and half years and I absolutely love it, the staff and management are very helpful and friendly, the tickets are affordable and the popcorn and drinks are very reasonably priced, a great day out whether it by yourself, a date or as a family, I've experienced all.. came here before I worked here and ill certainly continue to come .photos are of screen 1, which I visited yesterday, very clean and the seats are comfy to seat in.
Booked the Savoy for a child's Birthday Party, excellent. Your own private screening and a party room for after the movie
I like the Savoy Cinema for watching films without breaking the bank. Greater value if using Meerkat Movies. Never overly busy when I've been, screen 1 is the best. Parking is not very convenient but it's still worth a visit. Grab the 34,35 or 36 bus from town. Back to watch ELF, still awesome!
Probably the best cinema in Nottingham. Great value tickets, friendly staff and decently priced snacks. An Oscar worthy performance.
My son had an amazing party there. Staff friendly and willing to help, clean and would definitely book another party. Film and party room for food after.
