I came here to meet my other Zumba instructor friends, and we enjoyed a very good hospitality and nice range of food and drinks. Some items were not available which could limit the options as some of us are vegetarian or have different tastes, and when the kitchen closed it made it difficult to us to communicate due to the stainless steel clacking at the service area and the kitchen.
What a great place! Good auditorium with a decent house sound and lighting rig, friendly staff who are prepared to work with you. Amazing and tastefully modernised building with some fantastic architectural features. Good food at very reasonable prices for London. Only downside is that parking nearby is very difficult. Mostly residents only, so public transport is probably a best bet.
Good place for a show. The actual auditorium is a decent size and beautiful. The bar is also pretty pleasant, a lot to choose from in regard to drinks. The only issue was that the toilets were quite dirty and not well kept. But overall was a decent night and everything was arranged well.
Nice place. Good atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Drinks really good price however disappointed with lunch. Had a jerk chicken wrap. The wrap was cold and did not seem fresh and the chicken had a few small bones, not suitable for a wrap. Will go again and try other things my friends liked their caribbean fishcakes and chicken burger and chips.

A truly beautiful venue to visit, hang around and to play at. I know it has struggled to stay open over the years but it feels like it is truly now an asset of community value. When we were performing the Ginsberg show upstairs, which was truly a special event, counter-culture being reinvigorated, at the same time locals were hanging out listening to a live reggae band, seemingly unaware but maybe that was the point, maybe it was all part of the whole subversive creative force?
I attended a birthday party held here today . Great size rooms for kids birthday parties . This was for 3/4yr olds . I have to say the food was yummy and healthy I actually don’t know what’s on the menu we had mini pizza , sweet potatoes chips , norm chips , carrot, pepper, cucumber sticks , massive variety of fruits which were lovely and fresh and the chef & kitchen staff were super helpful , couldn’t do enough . Great job guys Thank you . would definitely recommend.
Stunning building with warm and welcoming staff. I stopped by for lunch and they staff were so sweet. There is an outdoor seating area too. I had the vegan roti wrap which was delicious! Also had the green plantain chips with guacamole which was good too.
I am a regular at the Tabernacle and I love the place and always feel relaxed and welcome there, unfortunately it seems to be run very badly, tables are not cleaned or cleared regularly, the bar is becoming very shabby and unloved, which is a great shame. I think new, energetic and enthusiastic management will revive its popularity
What a great little community and arts centre. We watched my daughter in a stagecoach production of Wicked. They have great cheap beer, good food and very friendly staff. All in a very beautiful building.
