Picture and sound wise fitted the bill, paid extra for a premium seat which basically gives you a cup holder and a tad more leg room. 2 adult and 1 child, with hot snacks was just over £60 not a cheap day. Next time ill half the price and will have lunch before we go and take our own reats
Clean cinema and good seating. We were in screen 4 and I think there were some patches that were a bit dusty as you could see blobs on the screen and when it was dark you could still see them. Main complaint would be price. Without a discount 2 tickets to see avatar in 3D would have been £40 which is a bit mad considering there were only 15 or so people in. It wasn't a busy screening. Also the price of snacks has predictably gone up, there are deals but you save like 50p on buying them separately. Of course large popcorn is massive though! Certainly not a cheap night out so be aware!
Been here once since moving to Dunfermline two years ago. Main reason for not going back and going to cinemas further afield. The seats. I've never sat in such an uncomfortable seat in a cinema. It ruined the whole experience.
I don't normally leave negative reviews so I'm being generous with 2 stars as it is at least a cinema and they showed a movie. I won't drag it out. Service is shocking with a stupid system in place and the seats are the worst cinema seats I've ever sat in. Spend half the money and sit in comfort with better sound and a bigger screen. Go to Vue!
Absolutely disappointed in the service and facilities here since the pandemic. Odeon seem to have lost their way with the core business model in that a picture house is for the patrons visiting to enjoy food and drinks during the movie. After a 20 minute wait for food we were told they had no food ready for the time being however just eat drivers who appeared 15mins into our wait were served and on there merry way with food going out to houses. So a visit to the cinema and paying for the entertainment doesn't entitle you to be priority for their food absolute shambolic no wonder the industry is dying to pirate movies
Friendly staff made me feel welcome, premium seats were chosen cinema 7 but still my knees were wedged in by the seat in front. NB I'm not tall a mere 5' 11" - sorry I don't know the metric version. Toilets and the whole complex were clean and cleaners were spotted working -great job you nice folk- I must admit clean cinemas and loos are always a positive! Costa staff at about 2pm were also really nice, thanks for tha! Mind you yet again the Costa rewards was not working! I was offered a receipt to try and upload it the next time I go to Odeon Dunfermline but, TBH given that I go twice a year at most and that the machines haven't worked in the past three years I've been going I'm resigned to the fact that Costa Coffee rewards is a non starter at Odeon Dunfermline. Will I go to the odeon again, yes, of course if there's a good film that is the staff have always been great, and definitely are at the moment, and the coffee does taste ok, despite the inability to give rewards.
Not my favourite Odeon as an Unlimited member. Staff say "it's not our job" to throw out disruptive idiots. The lights are often too bright or left on at start of movies, so have to see staff to sort it out. Leg room far too tight in most theatres. Go to Edinburgh West!!
We do not go as often as we used to we were in number 5 which is still to be renovated ,seats are hard and prices still high
Well, it was my first time in Odeon and I'm expecting much more- disappointed VIP seats -not much different than standard, ceiling lights was ON whole the time and really they bothered me all the time shining straight in the eyes. Screen sometimes looks like my TV when sun shining straight on it. VUE - great VIP seats CINEWORLD - great 4DX screen's ODEON - nice and helpful staff .
House of entertainment worth to upload night view of Odeon Dunfermline. Food , drink and entertainment in same retail park
