Nice cinema. Has many halls and isn't that crowded as it is well managed. Could be better if the promotion of South indian/ Indian movies weren't exceeding the Hollywood movies. Cuz I felt like this south Indian movie had a much huge poster banner and the marvel movie fantastic 4 didn't have any at all although it's new and gonna release today..nManagement is good , toilets are clean and the hallways are aesthetic. Would probably go there again to watch fantastic 4
Recently got cineworld unlimited, has now become my favourite past time to go to the cinema to watch movies. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The place is always clean, I don't think I've seen any mess in the actual theatre rooms in my many visits. The toilets are kept in a really good standard, and theres plenty of them, so no ques thankfully. During the busy periods, they have many people on the tills, allowing for faster service for customers, and theres a lovely starbucks upstairs for a wee treat afterwards.nOverall, would recommend going to this cinema, the prices are good even without yhe unlimited card
The best cinema in Edinburgh. This is a large cinema with all kinds of cool screens. Their standards screens are definitely above average in size. Always showing the new films for a good amount of time. Then there’s the only IMAX screen in Edinburgh. 100 feet and so immersive! And lately the new 4DX theatres, really surprised me! The seats shake and rotate like you can’t imagine, but timed very well to the movies. They spray water, smoke and scents. It’s very fun!
Now I want to share this very important thing, I have a payed membership for Cineworld and I visit a lot and it’s a very lovely cinema however something that is off putting is every time I scan my ticket they’re always asking me to show my app as if I am lying, of course I cooperate but once this happens r eveytime I go it becomes an inconvenience. Now I understand why they do it as it’s unfair people get in for free however to the loyal Cineworld members being questioned everytime I go is becoming an uncomfortable situation. I have had a membership for The longest and only now is when the staff the managers / supervisors are being to picky when it comes to these memberships, being asked to prove it’s my account each time gets abir repetitive and annoying and it’s making me consider cancelling my membership.
The stars are for the cinema itself - seats are very comfortable and spacious and well placed. We were in Screen 7 to watch ‘Superman’ which is one of the largest screens. We had a great viewing & it never really gets busy. I would have given it a full five stars for the viewing alone, however, the service at the til in Edinburgh Fountain Park gets a solid ONE. Very poor customer service that put me off from returning here.
