Just been to see The Post...great movie; great acting; great to see the freedom of the press serving justice and the movie industry telling the story in a riveting way. Comfortable and enjoyable snacks and service. 4 Star not 5 because it was really cool in the cinema. Air conditioning on and made it uncomfortable. It is February in Scotland!

Worst cinema. Very bad staff. Very high prices of food and drinks. Screen quality and seating poor.

The plus side is, this cinema shows a wide variety of mainstream films and also offers a Cineworld card at under £20.00 per month which allows members to see as many films as they wish as often as they want. The down side is the cinema is very impersonal, and although you may think you have a good seat when you purchase your ticket before you go in to the auditorium, if you have someone eating bags of apples and crisps beside you (yes, this and worse has happened) it transpires you have a duff seat that your stuck with for the duration of the film! Furthermore, since there`s no ushers, if people beside you continually talk, use their phones, eat noisily beside you or rustle sweety papers etc throughout the film, you have no usher to complain to. (On the occasion I left the auditorium to (eventually) find a member of staff, he reluctantly came in and pointed me out to the offenders before apologising TO THEM for having to ask them to be quiet! Since the member of staff then left the auditorium instead of keeping a check on the situation, the offenders continually gave myself and my partner threatening stares throughout the rest of the film, not to mention the fact that they also continued to talk through it. This resulted in both my partner and I in addition to some other people having to walk out the film! The staff at cineworld vary immensely in terms of their helpfulness, and whilst some excel in this area, others are total morons (and that`s being extremely generous) as is evident from the experience I outlined above. As we know, staff attitude and customer service in turn reflects good or poor management...... it seems that staff training is severely lacking at Cineworld with a view to ensuring that all staff are consistently helpful to the customers who effectively pay their wages. If you`re happy to see a mainstream film in an impersonal environment and run the risk of someone eating noisily or talking throughout the film, in the knowledge that there are no ushers to stop them, then this is the place to go! Depending on who serves you when you purchase your ticket, you may be met with a smile or a scowl from a young person who clearly sees you as a nuisance!

It was very cold in the room, me and my friends felt a constant cold breeze. Not a very good experience. Secondly (not sure if it was a problem with the cinema or the movie itself), there were visible frame drops, especially visible during camera pans.

Cineworld have even more to offer, 4DX it's a new addition to Edinburgh's cinema which is great experience. Staff are polite and place itself is very well organised.
