It's cinema, Jim, but not as we know it. An amazing place — the architecture! the decor! the reclining leather sofas! alcohol... and it's served in glasses! — and if that isn't enough, the staff are cheery and welcoming — personality goes a long way. If it were closer, I wouldn't ever go to any other cinema.
Great cinema, super comfy seats, lovely Art Deco interior. Good wine selection. Friendly staff. Could maybe do with more dishes on the menu. Currently just hot dogs and nachos.
The best cinema in Edinburgh - hands down. This is the cinema experience as it should be. The fabulous staff make sure you're treated like a highly valued guest; the food and drinks are served in glasses, and on plates and the chairs are the most comfortable I've experienced. Go first class! For a fraction more than a standard cinema ticket, you're made to feel like a VIP. Just love it.
Wonderful independent cinema. Love the refreshed décor - art deco style to match the building. Has all the usual films and new releases and some good different matinee options too. Great staff, beautiful interior, comfy chairs one or two of the foot rests don't work but you can get a footstool instead - the whole thing makes for a special night out not just a trip to a cinema.

Absolutely brilliant! The staff are so friendly and helpful. It feels like what I imagine cinema back in the 20's was like! Price point was excellent compared with the likes of Odeon, etc. The reclining seats were so comfortable that it made me realise I need a new sofa.
Like an old movie theater. Very different from other cinemas. Classy, elegant, nice armchairs and the most handsome / pretty staff, I've ever seen in a cinema. The sound was really good, the screen even if it was small, it was very good and the leather seats comfortable. I'll be back soon, for sure.
Amazing experience! This is the way movies are meant to be watched. The staff cultivate a really nice experience for you and they seem to genuinely care about your experience. Will definitely be back!
Loved this place, was such a great experience, table service was a brilliant touch and the recliner sofas were soo comfy! The price was cheaper then you’re average cinema. Wish they had a place like this near me!
