we've been in several times over the course of a few weeks undecided if to update our current suite.our 1st choice was recliner chairs then decided they wouldn't probably match our current sofa which we've only had 2 years from another store but due to unsuccessful back operation we finally decided to bite the bullet and order a new reclining suite which is abit more upright and comfortable we are excited to receive our new suite in 12 weeks ! Thanks to the guys in oak furniture for all their help with our decision making and especially the chap that helped us !
Visited today looking for a sofa and left with a very good option to go back to, as we've just started looking around. The staff were friendly, particularly a lady called Annie, who gave us plenty of helpful information about the sofa design and delivery. Lots of great, affordable options here for sofas, tables and accessories I left with a lovely large clock at a great price! Definitely a place to visit if you're shopping for house furniture.
Absolutely disgusted with the management of Furniture Oakland in Lakeside. He was extremely rude and came across as racist. I recommend that this man and his co worker in question re learn their customer etiquette. I highly recommend the Stevenage branch. They were kind, helpful and much better in theur customers service
Bought a larder, was not delivered. Tried to contact on phone numbers provided did not work. Went to Lakeside, store manager was rude and arrogant would not help and said we cannot cancel the order and nobody knows where my larder is. Waited from 4:30 till 8:30 pm for delivery. no contact , no calls no messages . Shop elsewhere I would recommend you never go to Oak furniture land ever.
Did not buy anything from this shop but contact was polite and informative
Furniture has lovely designs, though the price tag does give one pause for thought. In any case, the products look top notch, haven't bought anything yet, but would love to soon.
Phillip assistant manager and his team were fantastic at showing us around all the beautiful ranges available to order. Phillip was especially attentive, polite and had great customer service skills. Also, thank you to Alex who helped in finalising our purchase. Well done team!
Very welcoming, and left us to browse just what we like ,and James then let us know that on the next floor there was also lounge furniture, had a look ,then I asked James that we were ready to chat about a purchase, very professional and knowledgeable, would highly recommend
Awful customer service at the Lakeside store - try another store. The store manager likes to call his customers liars and defend his staff who are ill-mannered
