My partner and I went in on Boxing Day with our very active toddler. Although they did not have the specific bikes that we wanted, the gentleman serving us went well above and beyond to ensure that every question we had was answered. Customer service perfection! I didn’t catch his name unfortunately, but he may remember us. Thank you!

Started as simple "click & collect". The adapted knob on my steering wheel had broken. No problem, installed for me free by a very helpful guy. I noticed a chip on windscreen they fixed in 35 minutes very cheaply & no claim record on insurance. Could not have been more helpful, friendly & professional. This store does Halfords proud! Many thanks again all!

Better to not go there on a weekend - if you need something fitted, like a headlight bulb - because apparently they can only help if you park in front of the store, and they've got only two or three parking spaces.

PLEASE PLEASE don’t take your bike here if you value your life. DANGEROUS AND SHODDY WORKMANSHIP. 3 week wait for a gold service and I get a bike in worse state than it was. In fact the bike was dangerous. I should have checked when I left store but thought I was dealing with people who know what they’re doing.   Whilst riding home front tyre exploded (over inflated). Also I developed a flat tyre on the rear. Changed inner tube on roadside only to find a bolt had been left inside the tyre. They also lost some of the bolts which were replaced with rusty bolts from someone else’s bike – cheers Halfords Overall I was shocked by the lack of knowledge and workmanship. They only agreed to refund the service fee after I said I would take it head office and show them pictures of the shocking state my bike was left in after giving them £130. They’re not much better at new bikes. I asked them to assemble my daughter’s new bike only to find that one of tyres was hanging over then rim when I got home. It would’ve been obvious at first glance but they don’t seem care about theirs customers safety.

I visited Halfords Lakeside for a hands free DAB bluetooth car stereo, was installed by Wayne a very professional tea member, they were extremely knowledgable in there field. I highly recommend the Services
