I had the best welcome I have ever had at a hotel. The staff were really friendly and happy to chat. The room was basic but clean and warm, I was just looking for a bed for the night so it was a good choice for the cost. Rooms: Double bed and a single bed in room. Try and get a room at the back overlooking the country rather than services. Food & drinks: Costa and Macdonalds on site plus numbers on board for food delivery. No restaurant in hotel. Noteworthy details: I stayed on Northbound services. If travelling from North, you have to go nearly 4 miles past the services for the next exit to be able to access Northbound A34 and then 4 miles back to the services.
Only stayed one night as literally just needed a bed to sleep in. It was a very cold night so room was freezing when we arrived, but the heater soon kicked in and it was very cosy. Bed very comfortable and room was clean. Only dropped a star as it does need a little tlc. Lock on door wasn't great and needed replacing but otherwise a very good stay.
Ideal location on the road. Very nice member of staff booked us in. The room was a little tired and worn. The bed was perfectly comfortable and room was a fair size. We just stayed one night while travelling for convince.Rooms: 4/5
cheap hotel worth staying only if £30-£40 per night.
Receptionist helpful. Parking free. Bedding clean and comfy. However...Place smelt fusty. Bathroom needs a jolly good clean, bathroom door would not close due to handle being painted over. Do not think worth £129. Would not stay again. Our room was no.13Rooms: 2/5
Wow, the lorries passing by are giving a big noise. Corridors and rooms have an interesting smell. If you need an invoice, no chance. They can't print and they don't send Emails, as promised.Rooms: 2/5
Amazing staff: so friendly and kind. Celso the manager was particularly charming and went out of his way to ensure that all our expectations were exceeded. Sophia also deserves a mention. This is not a five-star hotel, but the staff totally compensate for the absence of luxurious surroundings. Well worth a visit next time you're heading north on the A34.
The staff were polite, helpful and friendly. The room was very clean, the bed was comfy. The price was value for money. Would stay there againRooms: 5/5
Such a lovely place to stay, really comfy bed, rooms are clean and a nice size. Hotel has a light and airy feel with such lovely staff. Anne & Lisa are always so helpful!Rooms: 5/5
Parking is a bit silly barely any spaces for hotel Lovely hotel , friendly staff let us check in late and had no issues with helping us with where we were going Rooms: Rooms are big , lovely layout clean and cosy
