In a word excellent! Fabulous food, best pub lunch I've had in ages: 'Dirty Fries' totally recommended. Mum had the Fish & Chips, a child's portion, still too much for her to finish & my hubby the Shepherds Pie, which he was delighted with. Pints of Adnams & a Coke for Mum completed our lunch experience, one that we will most certainly do again. Our complements to the staff. Next time, we'll make sure Mum brings her purse with her!
Lovely traditional pub, situated next to Ham Common and close to Richmond Park. This family run pub offered up a great selection of beers and ales as well as a nice food menu. The staff were great and very attentive, and the food arrived quickly. The portion was generous and the food overall was nicely presented and tasty
Dinner for 3 at the New Inn this evening. Burger cheese £1 extra was quite the thing after a trek in the rain. Fries were crisp and plentiful, and the salad was thoughtfully presented. Cumberland sausages and mash were excellent, too, with a delicious onion gravy. Treacle tart met the case for pudding, but could surely have come with a more generous ice cream accompaniment. Service was friendly and unobtrusive. Bill for 3 with drinks £71 before the service charge. Five stars next time if you get that open fire going!
Lovely local pub. Nice stuff, nice interior.
Used be a great pub with good food, but after lock down the food has gone drastically downhill. Just had this burger today and nearly went it back. Having lived in the area for over 10 years we will stop coming here until they sort out food.
Great place, friendly people, nice food, great beer garden & I think it’s one the best pubs in the area.
Visited the pub yesterday Saturday 7th Jan, and was bitten by a dog right inside the door badly enough to be bleeding through jeans. Neither the owner nor the staff cared at all. What a lovely pub.
Beautiful cosy pub, good food, friendly staff.
Family run Pub, with very friendly staff, excellent drinks and food. Highly recommended.
Decent food choice and cozy atmosphere
