Nando's Croydon - Valley Park

Nice atmosphere, staff usually friendly and greet customers with a smile. Service is prompt and orders get prepared fairly quickly. Every so often, there are mistakes with my order (missing items etc), but they are tended to quickly with an apology. Lots of free parking outside. Overall very pleasing establishment.

One of the better Nandos restaurants, however the chicken is sometimes undercooked so ask for well done if you want to make sure this doesn't happen to you. If you visit Ikea and you had enough meatballs, definitely give this place a try. It gets very busy around lunch time and the dinner with waiting times sometimes in excess of 30 minutes. Still worth the wait though!

Had a lovely meal. No straws tho so hard to drink with the tiny ice. Maybe get bigger ice cubes

Worst ever experience, waiting time is more than 2 hours, Patrick (who said he is manager of the resturant) has given us seats after 2 hours, peaple coming after us has been offered seats before us. when after 2 hours we sit on the seats, he came again and said that these seats are for someone else and we have to wait again. I was standing in the waiting area and below are my observations 01) Patrick has given high priority to white customers , welcome them in a nice way and all Asians customers . with no smile, no welcoming attitude and he put them in more waiting time as well. 02) He has given priority to girls, trying to be very frank with all female customers and for male customers he don't even have time to listen. We have waited for around 2 hours, after 2 hours due to his misbehavior and his non-professional attitude when we left the resturant without eating/having food, he was laughing and didnt even has apologetic attitude, he didn't try to adjust us and try to make us comfortable for few more minutes and offer us next available table. extremely non-professional attitude, look like being racist according to his dealing. called my guest from east London for food, and this is the way restaurant manager is dealing with us, was wondering if manager is like this how would be the other staff. will never visit nando's again , we and our family has stopped visiting nando's anymore!
