The hotel staff were all very friendly and approachable. We received a warm welcome on arrival and prompt check in. Our room was no.7 at the very top of the building, which meant climbing about 4 flights of stairs - but this wasn't much of an issue. The room was quite small but well presented and clean. Tea & coffee making facilities were available in the room, as well as a small TV and small cupboard/wardrobe. The ensuite was very small and claustrophobic, especially for two larger men. The house is quite old and there are a lot of creaky floorboards and thin walls - we had come prepared with earplugs so had no issue with noise, however I'd recommend anyone do the same as without them in you can hear people moving about and talking in the adjoining rooms. Breakfast was lovely with a good selection available. We opted for the full English on both days and were not disappointed. Brighton is a fairly expensive place to stay as we discovered, and if you're just looking for somewhere cheap and cheerful to stay for one or two nights, then Motel Schmotel isn't a bad place to pick.

Great location and price. Walking distance to thebnew british airways i360 and the pier. Small rooms but that did not bother us as we where out all day. Breakfast was lush. Good full English.

Great little B&B, felt very homely and I had four great nights sleep. I had the basement room next to the breakfast room which I worried might be noisy if I wanted a lie in but as you can have breakfast in bed it was rather quiet. This room has a bath in it with a separate (not shared) bathroom. Breakfast was tasty and staff were friendly. B&B is extremely well located, right by the seafront and 5 minutes from some shops. Pub about 1 minute away too!

Nice B&B if a little pricey. Clean reasonable sized room and hotel conveniently situated walking distance to most things and main bus stops not far either. Good breakfast choices. Only reservation was that reception was unmanned at night. Seemed safe enough though. Emergencies you were on your own.

Friendly and approachable. Rooms are comfortable and well presented with an excellent breakfast. Reasonably priced parking close by.
