Repeat guests here & yet again another fantastic stay. Everything was faultless. Friendly check in staff who were all extremely helpful. Hotel has been renovated to a very high standard. Highly recommend the King Superior room with Sea View - was absolutely stunning! Probably the best beach view in Brighton. Great breakfast & the pool was like a warm bath. Nice to have use of a lovely Sauna & Steam room too. Special thank you to Amy who made sure our stay was extra special for my birthday. Will definitely return next time we are in town. Highly recommend!!
The double room at DoubleTree hotel was very spacious and lovely, and the location of the hotel is great. The ladies at the reception were very helpful and sweet as well. However, my experience at the hotel bar was not very pleasant, which is why I gave only 4/5. The staff was barely making eye contact and my friend and I waited for our drinks for a long time.
Well located hotel and has a nice architecture inside. However, quite deceived with the amenities. we had a hanging toilet that was too dangerous to sit on. We got offered to get another room but way further. Also their swimming pool is ok, but sauna was supposed to be included. Instead, it did not work and was not informed on this. It could have been a better experience if amenities were better maintained.
Location is the only good experience! But it' s not enough to enjoy the place!!! Room was nice and quite big but not that clean and view was awful!!! Anyway on the arrival we found hair in the bathroom and crumbs in the bedroom. Also the kettle was not so clean. Bad experience at the restaurant hotel! Very slow and disappointing service all of them apart from a guy. We have been waiting for more than 10 minutes to get our menus in the end I was going to the waitress but she saw me and finally she came to the table and lots more to order and get our dinner more than 40 minutes for a "pizza" and a cheeseburger. And the restaurant was not even busy, just few tables and some of them already got food. Our beer order has been forgotten too twice!!!. Very bad quality food!
Location super , service superb. Rooms like an absolute sauna. So ridiculously hot, even with the window open. The thermostat in the room is as much use as a chocolate teapot. This needs sorting as it's just ludicrous.
The hotel is being redone and looks great but the rooms are oh so uncomfortably hot. Thermostats in the rooms don’t do a thing and it’s only bearable if you have a room with a window that actually opens. Otherwise get ready to sweat at night when they crank on the heat. The summer is even worse. No air con.Rooms: 5/5
My husband and I stayed at hotel to celebrate our wedding night and the whole stay was absolutely wonderful - beautiful room with the direct view of Brighton seafront, across-the-street access to the beach + Brighton central location. We loved the breakfast, luxury hotel decor and wonderful staff with helpful service. Special thanks to Rekha hotel's Manager for making sure our stay was extra memorable with personal wedding card wishes. Really recommend this great property to anyone visiting Brighton!
A beautiful hotel on the seafront, quick check in, friendly staff and a warm cookie to welcome us. We didn't book a seaview room as we were only there for one night. Our room was compact but very nicely decorated, a comfy bed tea and coffee provided, and a beautiful bathroom. The hotel was immaculate. Breakfast was delicious plenty of choice, the freshly cooked omelette was perfect. If you're going to a concert at the Brighton centre like we were it's less than a minute away. If we're lucky enough to stay again we'll definitely book a seaview room.
Lovely stay here at the end of January with really impressive service all round - but especially from Ruby on the front desk who provided an excellent check-in experience and deserves to be commended for it. Obviously a well-run hotel. Fantastic location, comfortable rooms and a good range of food and drink options. We had an evening meal at The Salt Room which I can highly recommend. I’ve stayed before and will stay again.
I recently had a fabulous stay at the DoubleTree Hilton Brighton Metropole for my husband’s birthday. The hotel is right on the seafront, and has a fantastic location close to all the attractions. We caught the train to Brighton and it was a 10 minute walk to the hotel. They’ve clearly spent a lot of money on the hotel recently, as everything from reception up to the rooms looks bright and fresh - with a lovely modern look. Once we check in we headed up to our bedroom. As we are Gold Hilton Honours we were given a sea view upgrade which was gorgeous. The room was clean and beautifully presented - with a new modern decor but with a nod to the hotels past. The bed was super-comfy, and the room featured everything you could want for your stay. The welcome birthday plate was also a very nice touch. Due to our membership status with Hilton we got free breakfast - and I have to say that it was one of the best Hilton breakfasts I’ve ever had. Everything was of a high-quality, the hot food was all fresh and they even had an egg chef preparing a whole range of different eggs constantly - so they were always fresh. I was really impressed with the whole setup, and the staff were friendly and efficient too. Overall, we had a fantastic stay at DoubleTree Hilton Brighton Metropole. It’s location is great, the rooms are lovely and the breakfast was top-notch.
