We bought our van this fall from Silver Cross in Ottawa and it was so much easier than we had expected it to be. It’s an expensive purchase & can be stressful. Teresa Manchester was awesome-  friendly, responsive and quickly understood what we needed & found it for us. The van is working out great. Teresa assured us that if we ran into any issues with it that we could call her & when we had a bodywork issue, she was on it.  I highly recommend giving Teresa a call if you need accessible van!

I cannot emphasize enough how much Teresa Manchester did for us in helping us to get a mobility vehicle that suits our needs perfectly and which has made our life so much easier and so stress free! Teresa must have taken 632 phone calls from us if she took 1. She never lost her cool, never lost her patience and always gave straight honest options, opinions an advice. She made sure we had realistic expectations and that we always knew the costs involved. She has a fantastic sense of humour and dealing with her cheeky take on things was a so very refreshing. I would recommend - without hesitation - both Silver Cross Automotive and Teresa Manchester to anyone looking for a mobility solution. I rate them 6 stars out 5!!

Stuart Miller is a dedicated and trust worthy consultant at Silver Cross who managed our stairlift installation needs, and Nick, who performed the actual installation, did an impeccable job in a very timely manner. What can you say about excellent service and quality products that this company provides. We're very happy with the hospital bed we bought through Cory. The price was affordable and the presales service was amazing. We will not hesitate to contact either Cory or  Stewart again for other products that we will likely need in the future. A Great company to deal with no questions about it.

I went to this company in 2021 to get an electronic left foot accelerator after my right leg amputation I went to them on the recommendation of the Ottawa Hospital Rehabilitation unit as Silver Cross has the requisite insurance. Silver Cross, understandably, require a prescription from a doctor in order to provide the service. Silver Cross then subcontracted the work to an uninsured company as they are not able to do that work. I could have gotten the work done at the subcontractor for much less than I paid Silver Cross. Now, 2 1/2 years later, I contacted them regarding hand controls for the same car. Surprisingly, they no longer have my original prescription! Why would a responsible company that requires a prescription to perform a service, no longer have at least a digital copy of the prescription to prove that they met basic requirements to provide the original service?

Excellent service.  Response time was a bit slow to start, but once we connected Cory proved knowledgeable and moved quickly.  We met Tuesday and I had my new walker that Friday!  Cory even made a second trip to bring me a cup holder for the walker. After 10 years using a walker, I can now use a walker and drink coffee!  Silver Cross is my new supplier and I highly recommend them.

My son Morgan and I received excellent service from Teresa at Silver Cross Automotive, 5300 Canotek Road Unit 42, Gloucester/Ottawa.  My son recently became a quadriplegic and we wanted to buy a used wheelchair accessible Dodge Caravan. We didn't know whether we wanted a van with a side entry ramp or rear entry ramp and Teresa took the time to explain and show us the difference between both entry types.  In addition, Teresa did 3 test drives with us - 2 test drives of a side entry van and 1 test drive of a rear entry van. The 1st test drive was in early November, 2023 - Teresa drove a van with side entry ramp to the Ottawa General Hospital's Rehabilitation Centre and met with my son and I there - we really appreciated the convenience of Teresa meeting us at the Rehabilitation Centre.  The 2nd test drive was in mid-December 2023 - Teresa drove a van with rear entry ramp to the Bruyere-Greyston Village Transitional Care Unit and met with my son and I there to do the test drive. The 3rd test drive was on January 8, 2024 - again, Teresa drove the van with side entry van to the Bruyere-Greystone Village Transitional Care Unit and met with my son and I there to do the 3rd and final test drive - we have decided to purchase the side entry van. We really appreciate the excellent service Teresa provided to us - she was informative, patient and understanding of our need to take our time with our purchase of our first accessible van. I ca lied about 5 different companies to have my husband wheelchair repaired and was told I would have to wait two to three days before someone could come out.  I was give the phone number for Silver Cross Ottawa.  Well you talk about good service.  Believe it or not I had the technician come the following morning on his way to work..repaired the wheelchair properly.  Very very pleased. I would recommend this company to anyone. They do a wide variety of repairs and sell all sort of equipment for handicapped or paraplegic individuals.  Please give them a call you will not be disappointed.  Thanks Cory.

Best customer service experience from a 'mobility' supplier we have experienced! We had a 'Bruno Curb-Sider' lift and an 'Adapt Solutions Asento Seat' purchased and installed into our new van by Silver Cross. They communicated with us regularly from the time they ordered the parts until they arrived, and then picked up or van and quickly completed the installations, providing us with clear demonstrations of the function of these two devices upon completion. Later, when we had some minor issues related to manufacturers' defects, they responded and rapidly completed the necessary repairs.  Silver Cross staff are always polite, knowledgeable and friendly, and Teresa and her team provide high-quality customer service to all customers. Highly recommended!

Where do I start.  Wonderful service, quick delivery, even though I did not provide Cory with much lead time.  Excellent from start to finish.  Cory was able to put my mind at rest, especially as I had to do everything long distance.  So esay to deal with, Cory you are a true gem.  Thank you very much.
