On 30.07.23 I visited Lloyde National when passing to take a look at a blue Mercedes A Class in which the price was advertised as £8,799.00 upon looking at the car nothing seemed to be wrong with it apart from minuscule wear and tear that you’d expect from and 8 year old car both myself, my dad, mum and brother all inspected the car we revisited on Monday to test drive the car but they were unfortunately not open. However upon returning on 01.08.23 to test drive the car the price upon arrival advertised in the window of the vehicle was still £8,799.00 as shown on Sunday and Monday. Both my dad and I test drove the car, both of us sat in the front seats. The man in question who was attempting to sell us the car was sat in the back with the window price beside him. At first he seemed okay and respectable but when we returned back to Lloyde National to go over the details, part exchange of my previous car and place a deposit he then disclosed that the price was in fact £9,799.00 to our surprise I went back into the car to take a look at the price and clearly whilst he had been sat in the back of the car he had reverted the price back to £9,799.00 and more or less implied we had seen a different price to what was advertised. Accusing us of lying, now we all know what we saw and the price was set at £8,799.00 under a special offer deal. We ended up walking away from the car and the deal because we knew what had been done which was unfortunate because it was a lovely car to drive and we were willing to pay the £8,799.00 advertised and therefore they lost out on a sale of a car through deceit and dishonesty. These types of people are what give other car salesmen a bad rep/name I’m sure not all of them are like this but as this was my first encounter with a car dealership it’s not a great first impression. I would avoid this car dealership like the plague, if they can lie about the price of a car what else have they lied about. And I can guarantee you this isn’t the first time this has happened. A real shame!
I completed the purchase of my car on 17 Nov 2023. I am very pleased to say the whole sequence went through without any problems. I want to thank Chris for his professionalism, courtesy, and friendliness. My new car?, love it very much.

Travelled to view a car Audi Q3 in white last Sunday to find the sill damaged and part of the door moulding to be the wrong colour. Poor repair Spoke to Andy who was really helpful and said this would be rectified. We were then contacted by Chris who is not the most helpful of people! Was told the colour looks ok to him and for us to travel again to see if we are happy! Can’t say it’s a reflection on the garage but sales staff is terrible
I’ve just part exchanged my car which I also bought from Lloyds National 4 years ago. Would definitely be my first choice of garage. Chris is a brilliant businessman with no hard sale, very trustworthy garage and if any problems then you know they will sort it out. First class service! Really happy with my new car, thank you!!

Just picked up my new Mercedes GL from these last week. I cannot recommend them enough. I dealt with Andy Lloyd and he’s service was second to none. Gave me a great deal on the car. He was professional and courteous throughout. Had a little trouble after driving away and he offered he’s help straight away to solve the issue. Top service. I would recommend to anyone.
Great car, great value. Dealt with the manager who was pleasant. He transferred the V5 online, filled in the car tax application and had all the paperwork signed and handed over to me within 20 minutes. Very straightforward experience.
DO NOT BUY EXTENDED WARRANTY/GUARANTEE Bought a vehicle from here a year or so back and was happy with my purchase until something went wrong with the vehicle and I tried using the extended warranty/guarantee I was talked into buying only to find it was void the second I purchased it. Have tried contacting them and have left my name and number and am yet to be contacted back. I am now left feeling I have been conned. In response to your reply. You offered a service you yourself do not understand. The vehicle was not stock and had been modified by previous owners leaving the extended warranty you offered unusable. You shouldn't have offered it to me even if I did ask. I waisted hundreds because of your poor customer service. Taking over a year to reply shows your poor customer service
Disappointingly these guys did not do as they said they would. My new car was to be serviced as the oil on the vehicle before purchase was in need of changing. This was noted and was to be changed as part of my purchase. It hasn't been done despite being promised and noted on the sales invoice. The oil remains needing a change. I don't appreciate being deceived into thinking its been done, a tick on the invoice isn't changing the oil, and trying to say it's long life oil doesn't cut it. How do you know what oil the car had put in at the previous service performed? You didn't do it. Thank you for your reply 29/9. The air filter was changed, my review doesn't relate to that.
