I was camping down the road from this pub and took a walk and came across the pub. I decided to go in. The place was tastefully decorated and clean. I got a friendly reception from the bar staff who were very efficient. I decided on the spur of the moment to have a side dish of cheesy chips. The portion was huge and it defeated me. I saw other food being served which looked very good and the guests were complimenting the food. Will come back again without doubt. Great experience. Thank you.
Updated June 2021. Still going strong with great food, great drinks. Keeping to all the covid rules as you'd expect. Fantastic little pub in the village. Free parking and right over the road quiet road from the park. Good food and drink with an extensive gin menu. Open wednesday through sunday inclusive. Great place to stop on or after a walk or when you want a nice evening meal later on. Very highly recommended.
Great meal out, I had cod and chips and my husband had burger and chip, both served hot and freshly cooked. The fish was lovely crisp and light, best meal out for ages. Highly recommended . The staff are friendly too.
Had a lovely spur of the moment meal, good food, good portions and lovely staff. A little stack of dog beds for your pups was a nice touch too. Will definitely return.
I popped in for a couple of pints whilst I was in the area on holiday. The pub was friendly and welcoming. Oddly, for a pub in Dorset, it sold Cornish beer.
Went here for Sunday lunch, it was absolutely delicious! And came with a full gravy boat! Very reasonably priced and very friendly service. It was nice to see that they were taking the virus seriously and had lots of measures in place to make you feel safe. Please support this local pub if you can.
Had lunch today and it was lovely. Friendly staff, dog friendly , feels very homely and decorated in warm colours. Karen & Steve are great people and will make everyone feel welcome. We wish them all the very best with this new venture and we are sure they will make a real success of this pub. A must visit when you are in the area.
What a glorious return to near normality, a lovely, sunny bbq sat on hay bales out the front with lots of friendly people. Really enjoyed my vegan burger. Quick to serve and clean inside too. Thanks Steve & Karen for organising!
Call me old fashioned, but I'm a sucker for the simple things. I like chips, I like beer and I like my pees mushed not rushed. So hush your brush and let me tell you about my new restaurant crush. The Milton Arms. Service as slick as an oil coated dip stick. Deserts that nurse the purse, burst the shirt but don't have you leaving in a hearse. If you're seeking fun flavour on your best behaviour, look no further, Milton Arms will be your saviour.
Best meal we have had in a long while. Every dish cooked and presented beautifully. Lovely staff too. Will definately be back.
