We had a 3 course lunch today for 2 and we were very satisfied with all 3 courses. Service was excellent as is the pub itself , certainly one of the best in Dorset. Menu is excellent and caters for most tastes . In addition it’s very dog friendly. Not the cheapest you could find however for this quality it’s worth every penny. Next time we be getting a taxi so I can sample the real ales and wines . See you again soon
Highly recommend the Langton Arms. I visited here for dinner whilst staying in the area for the weekend. We were made to feel so welcome, with such attentive and friendly service from what we can only presume was the owner. She really was so kind, ensuring my husband and I, along with our 1 year old daughter and dog, were all content! The food was delicious and the place was such a lovely cosy pub, perfect for dinner on a winters evening. Thank you - we will be recommending you to all who visit!
We had a two-course dinner today which was divine. The chef also gave us a complimentary amuse-bouche soup starter. The roast lamb & beef & pork belly were delicious. Best roast I've ever had in a restaurant. The desserts were delicious too. We were so impressed & pleased we will return. It is also in a very picturesque location.Service: 5/5
We went for a meal at the restaurant after seeing it had won an award for best pub in Dorset, most definitely deserved in my opinion! The food was beautiful, they also gave us a complimentary amuse bouche of vegetable soup to start which was also very tasty! I love that fresh local produce is used, I would definitely come again and also need to visit the Rawston farm shop
A most charming traditional country pub with excellent food, mostly locally sourced. Closed, at the moment on Mondays and Tuesdays, but open other days. High quality lunches, all very reasonably priced, especially considering the high quality. Friendly, informative and helpful bar staff. Easy car parking. Set in very attractive English farmland, countryside. Well worth the scenic drive
Stayed here as a Britstop used their carpark for an overnight stay in my campervan and had a lovely meal. It was pretty quiet on a damp Thursday night in November but the food was great and the service very friendly. Dog friendly.
Fab hotel, great staff, lovely room. This was my retirement gift from my colleagues in the NHS. Very enjoyable. Thoroughly recommend .
This is a very popular gastropub. They have an excellent menu matched by very good service. Highly recommended but you need to bookRooms: 5/5
Always excellent food, impeccable and warm service. Welcoming and so comfortable!Service: 5/5
On a wet and horrible day what else is there to do but search out your local foodie and pub places! And we came across The Langton Arms! In the middle of nowhere but definitely a somewhere to go to! We had a 3 course lunch and the choices we made were delicious. We were also treated to a complimentary cup of homemade soup at the start. A must go for anyone wanting a bit more than just pub food. Again, all the ingredients were local produce! There is also accommodation available there.
