Lovely hotel in a great location with a nice lake as a backdrop when weddings are on. Really nice room with exposed beams giving it lots of character. Staff were all very nice and friendly. I ate in the bar both nights and the food was excellent. Buffet breakfast with lots of choices catering for all tastes. Will definitely be going again.

Came with my Mum for the me time package. The facilities are excellent. Loved the jacuzzi, sauna and ice room. Staff were all really friendly. The treatments we had left us feeling brand new. They really knew their stuff and the facial and manicures we had were fabulous. Would definitely come again

I stayed here whilst on business in Shrewbury. What an amazing hotel. The room was very clean and very comfortable. There's a spa which I used and a gym. Service is very good - it was great to come back to the room after a day's work...wish I could have stayed longer. The grounds are amazing and there's a lot of activities. Very good location. I will most certainly visit again for pleasure

Really pleasant overnight spa break. This place had great facilities which were all lovely and clean. Rio on reception upgraded our room due to it being our anniversary, which is great as our new room was more like a suite! It was huge. Dinner and dessert was delicious; they made a fuss over our anniversary by decorating the table and personalising dessert. Will definitely be returning for an overnight spa break.

The rooms were fine, beds very comfortable. We were a group of 14 within a larger group of 200 ish and our rooms were split over the hotel which wasn't great. We were in the banqueting room for dinner and breakfast. Service at dinner wasn't good, food was nice but not much veg and no alternative potatoes of you didn't like mash. Breakfast was very greasy and not very hot with a 4 slice toaster. Spa facilities were nice but pool was to cold to go in and very few chairs. Communal areas were nice and staff were lovely. I would go back as a guest in a small group that had meals in the restaurant but all in all it was a nice stay in a lovely building.
