Story

The Shrewsbury Club offers a state-of-the-art gym, fitness classes, Myride spin studio, swimming pool, indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a spa and restaurant. With a dedicated Children's Activity Programme, we are proud to be a leading health & leisure choice for families.

The owners of The Shrewsbury Club have recently invested £1.25m into giving members even more for their money. Technogym equipment, a refurbished cafe and lounge, extended pool area, new changing rooms.... The Shrewsbury Club has become THE leading members only health & leisure club for individuals and families in Shropshire.

There are no contract tie-ins for members. You join on a rolling monthly basis for your peace of mind, but there are discounts available should you wish to pay for 12 months. There are also corporate membership options. The Shrewsbury Club is heavily involved in the local business and charity community, especially since the arrival of our new mascot, Vic the Dog!

Our tennis facilities have seen The Shrewsbury Club host some of the UK's most prestigious tennis tournaments. There is coaching for all ages, both on the indoor courts as well as the four outdoor clay courts. We are proud to offer wheelchair tennis lessons and host wheelchair tennis tournaments.

The Hub is The Shrewsbury Club's cafe bar area. The food menu and fully licensed bar makes The Hub a popular destination for members and their guests. There is free, reliable WiFi, perfect for work or play! New to our lounge is a soft play centre for under 8s, table tennis and teens' area.

I have been at the club for a year and a half now. Great gym, always clean and I've never experienced it being overcrowded. Love the family swim sessions and its great that you pay a one off fee for children until they are 16. Changing rooms are always clean, but can be very busy could do with being bigger for the amount of guests that swim. Nice facilities and the staff are friendly - especially in the hub and housekeeping, they need a pay rise. I often work from the library and it's a great space to do this as it's quiet and the WiFi is good. Soft play to entertain the kids. Deducting one star as the showers  have a sewage smell, even though they are clean this is a drain issue. Also, pool temp is hit and miss sometimes it's can be cold even though it's meant to be heated.

Jacuzzi was not very warm. Sauna and steam room nice. The massage was not the best I've had. Mud chamber was okay but not enough mud to cover body. The food in the cafe was good.

The best gym in town. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. The facilities are spotless and the gym equipment is super hi tech. Great place to chill with a brew after a work out and swim.

Excellent Summer Camp for Kids Our son has spent two weeks in the Summer Camp for Kids in the School Holidays. The organisation has been absolutely spot on, as has been the attentiveness of all of the staff that we have come into contact with. The restaurant seems to be very popular and we’ve previously used the gym and spa treatments, all of which have been very enjoyable indeed. Very much looking forward to coming back again soon.

Spa day here. Ok experience but just a leisure centre with a bolted on spa facility. Steam room, jacuzzi, pool, mud bath. Service was friendly and fast. Free drinks.

As a member for nearly a year now I highly recommend this club mainly for its facilities friendly staff and most importantly the cleanliness of changing rooms and all ancillary spaces Housekeeping staff deserve the 5 stars having been to other clubs locally The Shrewsbury club stands out.

We attended here for a Spa experience. The Imagine Spa for my birthday. Great customer service, clean, friendly welcome. Many services available. We attended a couple of hrs before so we could use the swimming pool jacuzzi, sauna and steam room before our treatment. Highly recommended it. Thank you for making my birthday special.

Came here for a spa day, good sized swimming pool, sauna and steam room, good sized jacuzzi aswell. We had the mud treatment which was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Also had lunch in the cafe which was well priced and tasty.

I paid a visit to decide if this is the club I will join , when my aquatherapy sessions are almost finished . Clean , welcoming , friendly , helpful staff  , well equipped.  Adult only swim sessions and reasonably priced . I will also be able to visit reasonably cheaply thanks to super dial a ride ! The food is rather expensive but as I don't like too  eat too soon after swimming it won't affect me  . I think you can guess....I will be going there !

I love this place. Great facilities, lots and lots of classes which always have availability, the food in the restaurant is good and great service. The staff on reception are super friendly and recognise you, which isn't always the case at other gyms. It is pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for.
