Recently stayed for business. Really comfortable stay, staff were great, and the rooms were quiet and clean. Management Feedback: Slight issue with finding the hotel itself, it’s not very clear and took us a while to find the entrance and check in desk. I think directions could be clearer and we bumped into a few fellow guests having the same issue.
Went for Sunday lunch and the following day to look at & discuss the function rooms options for a private event . We also looked at one of the bedrooms as it was open & about to be cleaned as we walked up the stairs. Sunday lunch was great , good quality food , my family eat both the chicken & beef and there was also a nice fresh salad bar. The restaurant waitress was attentive, friendly & helpful for recommendations for my children. The bedroom I saw looked spacious and nicely presented with a modern bathroom . The lady and gentleman I spoke with concerning the function room were both professional and helpful with suggestions. The hotel is a little different from some other branded hotels as it has its own individuality which is reflected in its cool interior design. Great views over the marina & sea . Recommended.
Stayed there for a night. It's a little way from the town centre but the bus services are frequent and cheap. You can park for free in the marina car park. The room was lovely and clean, staff were fantastic and the breakfast was wonderful. Great place to stay and we will be coming back in the summer. Food & drinks: Nice restaurants around there, easy trip into Brighton via the excellent bus service.
We went to Mal Mason for afternoon tea for my wife's birthday. We were looked after by Michelle spelling may be wrong and she was great! We had our two kids with us who we felt would not enjoy the afternoon tea and instead got them a little lunch to have and they shared our sweet treats. Michelle was very attentive and made sure that we didn't run out of drinks. The food was great and we really enjoyed our time and will definitely be returning.
Really lovely hotel and restaurant overlooking the Brighton Marina . Gorgeous views at the front over all the boats and sea beyond . Restaurant is amazing and gorgeous ambience and most delicious food ! Also terracing to enjoy in the summer. Many thanks.Rooms: 5/5
From check in to check out my experience of the Malmaison was fantastic. 5 stars plus. Cleanliness, amenities, staff, all on point and couldn’t be faulted. Very happy with my stay and the Malmaison will definitely be my hotel of choiceRooms: 5/5
Nice room, but very dark. Very clean and all staff our lovely other than the two receptionists that were working the night of 04/03/2024 me and my mum went for a dinner which was pre paid for including the hotel , however the two receptionists tried to charge us 500 pounds which was even more than the hotel itself! When i tried to ask them where this bill has came from “oh im not sure, but you owe a lot but you will just have to sort it out with the manager “ no professionalism and just letting there guests go to bed for the night stressing out they have a 500 pound bill out of no where to be paid! Also they were very rude and need better training manners dont cost nothing either. However manager did sorted it all out in the morning when checking out without no fuss and was also baffled as much as us why they said the previous night before
Thank you especially to Connor the assistant manager at reception who went out of his way to make sure we were able to still attend and utilise our booking. He went above and beyond to make the best of the situation and due to one member of our party being sick he shifted rooms around to accommodate us and was so helpful. Love this hotel. Staff can’t do enough, it’s always clean and tidy and so luxurious and spacious. So happy we choose this location. Thank you so much Rooms: Beautifully cleaned and the extra mile to make us appreciate the small things. Couldn’t be a more pleasant stay in the local area
Wow. What a gorgeous hotel. Upon arrival the receiption staff are good far from outstanding. We had a sea view deluxe room which was gorgeous. Zero complaints here. The icing in the cake is the food and drinks. Totally off the scale.... food quality is outstanding and Ed at the bar is the host with the most.... never have I gelt so welcome and treated like a respected guest on holiday in a lovely hotel. Ed and his team went out of their way to make this break for me and my Fiancee feel like a lush break abroad. Thank you Ed and team. Breakfast is also amazing! For the duration of the stay, reception staff let this place down. They seem to have very little clue about most things. I will definitely go back, especially if the GM gives me a returning discount!
Lovely place. Staff are delightful, especially the dark-haired chap on reception & the young lad in the restaurant . Surprisingly quiet, given the size & location. Food is amazingRooms: 5/5
