Philip did a great service on my bike, got her riding like new. The price was really fair and he explained the breakdown very clearly - he even picked my bike up from my work! Highly recommended.
Exceptional and very personable bicycle service delivered from a funky lock-up tucked away in the the heart of Stoke Newington. I have a very ancient and slightly mashed, step thru bike that needed fixing but no extras, and rather than look down his nose at it or suggesting I do more than was necessary to get on the road again, mechanic Philip, straightforwardly explained what he could do, at what cost and agreed a turnaround time with the least amount of down time. Wouldn't go anywhere else now. Highly recommend.
Have come back a couple of times as Philip is always helpful and accommodating. He is also quite knowledgeable with any questions I have about what I should do with my bike. Would highly recommend.
Outstanding Bike Repair Experience! Following a grueling and frustrating 4-hour struggle to fit new tires, I turned to Philip in complete desperation. He responded promptly, and within 5 minutes, we met. Well, the reviews don’t surprise me. I got a direct hit, with a screw through my tire. They got my anti-theft wheel off and replaced with reasonably priced alternatives. Cleaned out the tire to ensure there were no more rogue element that could have caused another puncture. Support this business - they care, they’re passionate and they’re willing to go the extra mile.
Philip couldn’t have been more thorough fixing my bike. Everything was good about the service he provided: professional, friendly, reasonably priced, quick and good clear communication. He even dropped the bike back to my workplace! Really impressed. Thank you!
Highly recommend LOVEBIKES. Philip is the best! Super nice and very resourceful in making the bike what you want ie taking the time and effort to make one-off spare parts to attach add-ons. I originally contacted him via a post on gumtree about a bike that turned out to be too big for me but he set me up with one I like even better for a really good price and with all the extra tweaks I wanted on the spot and without service charge and even worked quite late to get me my bike that day. Gave me loads of tips for cycling and .gov neighbuorhood help in getting used to the cycling here I moved from EU. Won't get a better set up anywhere else. I even road my bike around for a couple of weeks and came back to tune up a few bits that you only really notice after cycling around for a bit. Above and beyond kind of guy. Thanks Philip! xx G
