Great location right across the river from Big Ben and Parliament. The staff was very accommodating, even with us arriving early due to our flight arrival time. The room was spacious and although the London eye was right outside our window, very quiet. The location made it an easy walk to many London attractions and a short walk to Waterloo station, which makes easy work of getting around town.
Georgiana took great care of us for breakfast every morning and afternoon tea. Hotel itself is very pretty. Everyone is very friendly and kind. And also don’t forget the view: Big Ben and the river from every window! Would love to come back again.Rooms: 5/5
This is now my most favourite Marriott hotel in London and I've stayed in 10+. Location is perfectly situated behind the London Eye and near buses and Westminster or Waterloo tube stations. A beautiful historical building with spectacular views. I had spontaneously booked this hotel for my girlfriend and I's anniversary / watching Taylor Swift's concert and the hotel went above and beyond with their service: they emailed me prior what we liked to eat and drink, and I also shared that my girlfriend liked white roses. When we checked in, we got upgraded to the Big Ben view. It was breathtaking! Not only that, in our room were sweets and wine + a bouquet of white roses, a red heart balloon, and to top it off: they left 10 Friendship bracelets to signify Taylor's concert which made my girlfriend and I tear up. It was a very memorable stay and we thank the staffs of London Marriott County Hall for going above and beyond for us. We can't wait to be back again!
The Marriott Hotel County Hall is about a 15 minute taxi ride away from St. Pancras International Railway. The location of the hotel is centrally located on the Thames river and perfect for exploring the city and seeing the sights. The room for my family of 4 was spacious and inviting. Our room had a wonderful view of the river and the Palace of Westminster off in the distance. The service staff was impeccable and very formal. The staff went out of their way to answer all our questions and even recommended a few local places we should visit that were off the beaten path. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Nearby activities: This hotel is all about location, location, location. County Hall is across the bridge from Big Ben and the Palace of Westminster and right next to the Eye of London. It's roughly a 25 minute walk to Buckingham Palace or you can jump on one of the local tour buses which stop right in front of the hotel.
My parents and I stayed at the Marriott London Count Hall for about a week and we had an amazing time! From arrival to the airport, to late night trips out of the hotel, to early morning breakfasts, the concierge helping us book activities, the entire staff was accommodating and extremely helpful with tips on what to do for our first time in London. The hotel property was absolutely stunning and was walking distance to everything you’d want to experience for your first time. We took Ubers to some of the further neighborhoods but we never paid more than 20 dollars for one. The rooms were extremely spacious and we had a great view of the London eye and Big Ben. The restaurant on the property was delicious and they also had high tea, that we unfortunately, did not get to experience. The Red hop on-hop off tour bus had a stop right in front of the hotel gates, which we took on our first day and was a perfect way to get the lay of the land About 30 dollars per person. There are delicious restaurants and bakeries around the hotel The Westminster Kitchen and Gail’s Bakery and some street food vendors as well. You will also find souvenir shops, a pharmacy boots, and a small grocery store around the corner as well maybe a 4 minute walk . We had a wonderful time in London and we are so happy we chose to stay at this property. You will not regret staying here! Rooms: Spacious, minimalistic, and a great view. If you are hot natured like me when you sleep, the windows in the room open which lets in some cooler air at night. Safety: The area and hotel its self felt very safe. Just like anywhere else, it’s always best to be aware of your surroundings. Walkability: Most of the main attraction's, Big Ben, London Eye, Tower bridge, took milliseconds to walk to. London is a very walkable city, we took Ubers because we did a lot of shopping and did not want to walk back to the hotel with bags.
London Marriott Hotel County Hall offers a luxurious experience in a historic setting. Its prime location near major attractions and stunning views of the River Thames and Big Ben are a major highlight. Spacious, well-appointed rooms and impeccable service enhance the stay. While it's on the pricier side, the hotel delivers a memorable experience perfect for those seeking a touch of grandeur in central London. Rooms: Great Nearby activities: Great Safety: Great Walkability: Great Food & drinks: Great Noteworthy details: Great
As a world traveler and a Platinum Elite Member with Marriott Bonvoy, I've had my fair share of check-ins across various properties. However, my experience with Eric at the iconic Marriott County Hall in London was truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived, Eric delivered the best check-in experience I've ever encountered. His professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine warmth made me feel welcomed and valued. Thank you, Eric, for making my stay at the Marriott County Hall unforgettable. I highly recommend this hotel.
Great hotel & location but the smell as soon as you enter in the hotel is so over powering I have to cover my nose to walk inside not joking it eventually goes away when you walk into the lobby but it’s just awful! I’m not sure what they are trying to cover up…. I could not even sit in the bar, I had the worst headache. Great location, great rooms, the breakfast being $25 a person for a hotel breakfast is ehh…. And the bed could be better, probably worst bed top 5… and I travel a lot. You’d think at $4k for the week you would have a nice bed & not a headache when you walk in but if you like horrible scents & hard beds this is your place.
You need to pay so much for small rooms. It is extremely expensive room prices. I supposed i will see a wonderful and big room. You can go to any hotel you want if you pay that much. Corridors are a bit smelly and there are some obstructions on the floor while walking. A parcel on my name was delivered to the hotel yesterday at 13:40 and i received my parcel at 9:10am today. They didnt find it at the beginning then they located that. I will not come here again at all. Not worth it. Rooms: the rooms should be bigger if you pay that much. Location is very good. That is all
We had an amazing stay! Absolutely stellar from start to finish!! The hotel itself is incredibly gorgeous with classically appointed rooms. The staff is top notch—every person we encountered was super nice and helpful. The location is perfect; you are literally right next to the London Eye, and so quite in the thick of all of it, yet the hotel is situated in such a way that it’s set back a bit from the immediate street so you still get a sense of exclusion. It was an ideal, picture perfect place to stay in London with outstanding staff, and we hope to stay again!
