Really nice venue. We went to listen to a Rachmaninoff concert which was fantastic, the pianist was amazing and the choir were very good. We sat in the stalls block D, in my opinion really good seats central view and sound really good. A little bonus at the interval, an outdoor balcony overlooking the embankment beautiful sunset views. Would definitely visit again, great value for the tickets.
The place looks surgical but it is magical. It could do with better signage but there is always people around who can help you find your way around. Went to see Richard Ayoade's book presentation. A very funny evening. Also the food at the Food Hall is not bad and it isn't crazy expensive for the place and location. Looking forward to attend more events! The event in particular was very well organized with good subtitles, Deaf-signing, etc.
Had been at Royal Festival Hall to attend my daughter's Convocation . The magnificence and the ambience were captivating. All the staffs were so attentive and caring that it made us feel so welcome & comfortable.Visited onWeekdayWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedNot sure
Amazing place, neat and clean, friendly team. Lots of lifts to go to upper floor. Nice restaurant to eat and drink with plenty of seats and table to sit. Waterloo station is 5 minutes walk.
First time at the Royal Festival Hall, and we found it an amazing venue. Very modern and a beautiful open space. We attended Ara Malikian concert and it was an excellent too.
Incognito played live as part of the Chaka Khan Meltdown, they were phenomenal as always. Great views over looking the Thames. Everyone was in good spirits. So much fun. Great staff What an atmosphere!!
Beautiful hall with seats that are slightly more comfortable that the average theatre seats. Leg room isn't great for those that are taller though. We were sat in the balcony area J which is located on the 6th floor and we saw everything perfectly on the big screen and the orchestra area. It was exceptionally clean throughout the areas and ample toilets on most floor that cater for men, women and inclusive bathrooms. They also have a couple of cafes/restaurants on the ground floor and a couple of floors above that do hot drinks, cakes, sandwiches etc. Not bad pricing for London. 2 coffees and 2 brownies cost just over £16.
Amazing venue. I was lucky enough to see Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No.3. It was amazing, and the Hall looked really good, and the acoustics were excellent.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedYes
Went here as P&O guests for the 2024 BAFTA Awards ceremony. Venue has pluses and minutes. Lots of steps and lifts not operational did not help. Nice outdoor spaces used for the red carpet and photos. We were in the balcony that offered a good view of the proceedings but the screens need to be bigger. The seats were comfortable but the access steps without handrails are not for the fainthearted. The skylon were exceptional but the security and ushers need more customer skills. We had a warm welcome when entering the Sylon Restaurant. It has lots of vantage points, seating, drinks stations and wonderful food. A good not great venue.
Very friendly staff, clean and very well kept. Over priced drinks, snacks and food. To be expected. If you’ve never been before it’s a bit confusing to find the right entrance. The ticket shows you the row letter but that doesn’t necessarily correspond to the right door. The auditorium itself is fairly cramped. Be prepared to get up to let people into their seats. If there were an emergency I would be surprised if it didn’t end up in a stampede crushing people. The place isn’t built to let out the large number of people it’s made to seat. If you have tall people in front of you, be prepared to compromise on view. Facilities in and around are outstanding.
