The View=Amazing, Bedroom=slightly dated, Bed=amazing, Bathroom =amazing. The place smells like fire everywhere because of fireplaces. (it was quite nice.) the bar was nice and the staff were super helpful and friendly. The main downside was the fact we could hear the next room talking... @£180 a night you would expect the rooms to be sound proof...

Lovely place, great setting right by the lake, amazing breakfast overlooking the lake. Really lovely sitting in front of the lovely open fires with a whisky but I just wanted rip my ears off and throw them in the fire because of the appalling, continuous muzak piped into all the communal areas. Rooms are open and spacious, even had a bath in our room.

Terrific!! We stayed at the boathouse and can highly recommend it. Very beautiful and cosy accommodation. We were a little dismayed at the restaurant menu as the vegetarian meals weren't as high quality as the others. Otherwise a fantastic break!

Lovely place to stay. We stayed in a classic lake view room and were not disappointed with the view! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great with yet another stunning view of the lake and had a really nice walk around the hotel gardens too. The only problem is that we only stayed 2 nights!

This is the second time we have stayed at this fantastic hotel and on both times everything has been absolutely spot on . nothing is too much trouble for the staff who are polite, friendly, welcoming and helpful.our room was amazing ( no 30).the hotel has such a relaxing atmosphere especially when the coal fires are roaring away thank you very much 👍👍
