Our stay was everything we needed and then some. The owners clearly take a lot of pride in their guesthouse and it shows. Rooms were a good size with a nice bathroom. Location was excellent and an easy, quick walk to the distillery and town.Rooms: 5/5

Rooms are relatively large, but there is hardly any storage space. There's a lot standing around some call it decoration, others call it tinnef and it seems a little confusing. Overall it seems clean, towels are changed daily and the bed is made! Walkability: Oban city center within 5 minutes
First night in Scotland, after a long journey. It's a charming little Guesthouse. From the outside it looks like all the ones on the street and there are some…. Once inside there is first of all the welcome: extraordinary! We will realize as we continue our stay that to say that a Scot is welcoming is a pleonasm. Our host knows his region very well and gives good advice. Upstairs the bedroom is atypical. Clearly I wouldn't decorate my room like this, but here I find it charming. The room is not luxurious, but it has everything you need and the bed is cozy and comfortable. Although Oban is a small town, or at least a town where the sites of interest are very concentrated, Lagganbeg is very well located: near the Oban distillery which we did not visit, near the west coast for boat trips, near restaurants… One reservation: using hot water is not easy or maybe we were tired..., but it remains a detail that does not affect the quality of the stay.
I only spent one night but George made us feel welcome in his establishment. And listens and gives you very good information about the places to visit. Rooms: Decent room with amenities for a comfortable stay
An overdose of cuteness as soon as you enter the room. We could sleep well for two, although the bed seemed a bit narrow at first. Unfortunately, there was no breakfast at all, which took the stars away from this otherwise great place.Rooms: 4/5
