Ladbroke Grove Tube Station, nestled in the bustling heart of West London, serves as a vital hub for commuters and tourists alike, seamlessly connecting them to the diverse offerings of the city. The station, known for its distinctive red-brick facade, exudes a charming blend of historical character and modern functionality, making it a noteworthy stop on the Hammersmith & City and Circle lines. Its clean, well-lit platforms and user-friendly layout ensure a pleasant transit experience, with clear signage and helpful staff contributing to an efficient and stress-free journey for passengers.nnHowever, Ladbroke Grove Tube Station falls just short of perfection, primarily due to its lack of an elevator. This omission marks a significant accessibility issue, particularly for those with mobility challenges, parents with strollers, or travelers with heavy luggage. While the station boasts escalators and stairs, the absence of an elevator restricts ease of access, which is a crucial factor in today’s inclusive public transportation standards
The Flowered Corner is a great place for fresh flowers and indoor and outdoor plants. Have been their today to get funeral arrangement and a lovely call. Jane has sorted me out with an arrangement from her book of arrangement at a good price. Will be back for some plants for my garden.
Met the RUDEST attendant ever on the network. So disappointed!nnI usually get fantastic service at the tube station but I must say I am very disappointed with the service I received today.nn1. I came into the Ladbroke station wanting to get my railcard added on to my Oyster card so I could start using my discount immediately.nn2. Nobody was in the immediate vicinity, so I waited for a while before calling out for help. Turns out there was a lady hiding behind the counter! I could hear a voice but not see anyone.nn3. She came out angry and irritated asking what I wanted. I told her I wanted to get my railcard added on to the oyster. She actually said that that I shouldn’t have asked for help because it wasn’t an “emergency”?? I can’t believe it! The point of customer service is to help people and it wasn’t like I was asking a silly question, I wanted to get the discount I was entitled to.nn4. I asked for name because I was going to feedback it and she refused to give it to me she definitely knew she did not act right!nnHer attitude was so nasty and mean-spirited and as a black lady myself, I am utterly disappointed that someone like her represents us and Londoners.nnIf she treated me like this with witnesses around, I can imagine how she treats who are vulnerable or disabled.
This is a average basic underground station which has no disabled access to the platforms only stairs. The ticket hall area and entrance is small with just a few ticket barriers to use. This station is always busy when Notting Hill Carnival is on every year. The Circle and Hammersmith & City lines stop here.
Wow. My family and I had a great customer experience from Leone. He spotted us looking confused on his CCTV, and magically appeared from a wall to offer clear guidance and proactive advice. He's smart, well humoured and compassionate to his customers. We all dream of a team of Leones!
