Welcome to the King Kong Climbing Centre in the centre of Keswick.

Children’s play Area

The Hard play area is a great place for children to burn off that excess energy. With lots of fun thing for them to explore in the Caves of the Dragon’s Lair and the Tunnels and turrets of the King Kong castle.

The Hard Play is Suitable for children aged 3 – 12

For the Little ones, under 3 we have our Soft play area.

King Kong Café

Come and relax in the King Kong Café where you can enjoy a great range of hot & cold drinks. For those feeling a little peckish, why not try some of the delicious food from the King Kong Menu including a range of Panini’s, sandwiches and homemade cakes. We also have a children’s menu.

Outdoor Courses

We offer a wide range of courses at King Kong Climbing Centre.
You can choose from:-
Ghyll Scrambling – Jump Slide and Dive your way down a Mountain stream
Via Ferrata Extreme – Test your Head for Heights on the iron walks of Honister Crag
Via Ferrata – Climb in the Mine
Rock Climbing – Courses range from Intro to rock to Lakeland Classics
Mountain Days – Taylor made mountain days to suit your needs.

We provide you with all the equipment you will need for your chosen activity and all of our instructors have the appropriate qualifications that will ensure you have a very safe and highly enjoyable experience whatever you choose to do with us.
