Honestly,  I have never asked for anything they haven't got. Much rather support this excellent local business than screwfix.

A great place, full of item's that you need, if they don't have it in stock then Sue can usually order it for you. A very helpful place indeed.

Brilliant. One of those local shops that seems to sell a bit of everything that isn't available elsewhere. I had an urgent need for a set of jewelers screwdrivers to fix my camera on my first visit to the Lake District and Lakeland Decor saved me. Sure, it wasn't as cheap as it would have been elsewhere but it was cheaper than a lost holiday morning and a 40 mile round trip to find them somewhere else!

I asked for a letterbox and lock for the door. I took the lock and asked if letterbox would fit. I took them all so I would get the same. When we unwrapped and tried to fit them they would not fit. They were not the same. I did ask and two people were looking and not answering. The lock was £30. On the net 17.21 Letter box £20 same as net. Handles fit of the 3 items   £15. £10 on net  .I would have saved £22 by going on net. Worth visiting the net.

Breath of fresh air to find a local independent hardware store amongst the tourist shops.  Amonggst other things, bought good quality brass windows stays off the shelf for similar price to those I'd found on line.  Helpful staff too.

Great independent store, very friendly and helpful.  Hardware shops like this are a vital & important part of the community and chains such as B&Q have systematically replaced them in bigger towns, losing the personal touch and service.

Always a pleasure, paint mixed, bits and bobs and if they ain't got it they'll try and find it.

We call it "the shop that has everything' because it is full of useful stuff you can't get anywhere else in Keswick.

Staff very helpful and will always order in if they've not got what you're after in stock.

Excellent store with a wide range of products available alongside fantastic service
