"Based in the centre of Keswick, Kong Adventure has something for all ages. A café, a play area, a climbing wall, bouldering wall, ice climbing wall and the best running shop in the north. But that’s just inside. Kong also provides premier days on the crag, hurling down a Ghyll or dangling of a Via Ferrata. All guided by highly experienced and super friendly staff, making sure you get the very best out of your time in the lakes."

Brilliant climbing wall with super friendly staff and loads of stuff to do especially for younger ones. Every time we come to the Lakes we bring our kids here for an hour and they love it. The cafe is also excellent, so you drink coffee and eat cake whilst watching your kids play on the climbing walls.
My 10yr old spent an hour on a Crazy Kong session and had a brilliant time. Great staff, completely safe, good fun and a great mix of walls to climb. The hour flew by. We'll be back
Great for the children and staff very helpful and friendly. Free, yes free, table football. Pool table free but unusable due to very poor baize. Children loved the adventure area and climbing was well supervised and organised
Fantastic place. Absolutely brilliant for climbers and also families. Cafe, esacaoe room, caving system, kiddies play area.
The cafe and childrens play area are good for a wet day. Baby area is small and a bit grotty, but the "hard play" area has a great castle with tunnels and slides for kids to play on. Entry £2 for a toddler.
One space with a massive range of options and great opening hours too. Climb a range of styles and challenges with plenty for climbers of all ages and abilities. Or get stuck into the cave, kids play area, escape room or bar! You can even round it off with a spending session in the shop, which has top quality gear.
Hard play area was ideal for grandkids. To get away from rain and wind. Nearby parking area is a long stay car park within easy walk. Refreshments and toilets.
Good value, quality facility in the heart of Keswick. We've been a few times over the last few years and it continues to improve. I hope they keep the prices reasonable as time goes by. Free soft/hard play area is great for kids up to around 8yo, and catering is good value and friendly. Climbing is well run, and the new auto-belay section means more active time for the kids less swapping belay with Dad. The caving tunnel is fun and worth a go - much easier for the kids!
Excellent facilities and really great staff! Ed was brilliant with our 2 sons, explaining things and making it fun, would highly recommend!
friendly staff who gave great advice...and great selection of outdoor gear
