The staff here are the best in the downtown core. Very professional and efficient. I’ve never had a bad experience here and even when the queue is long, it tends to move quickly
Was going to get a passport photo. Got in line, it was my turn but was told to wait 2 minutes so they can help the one behind me first, but it turned out to be 20 minutes as they kept taking on new customers. Even though I lined up first but I had to wait for other people’s turn who were behind me?
I tried to get a $500 money order, their printer didn’t work, wasting 15 mins. Then they couldn’t return the money due to issues with limits on how much they can return per day 45 mins additional wait 1 hour of waiting to get absolutely nothing done. Amazing incompetence
The lady there was made rude and gave major racist vibes. Asked for help and she just kept saying I can’t do anything for it in a very cocky tone.
Thank you so much to the staff who was helping me to send an international package. Didn’t get her name but she made everything easy to understand and efficient. This is my favourite Canada post location from now on.
Came to post office when it opened but no one was there, made me late for work.
This is Shane! Thank you so much for everyone providing a review, both good and not so good! This is the only way I could think of to share my gratitude to everyone. I wish to express my appreciation to the satisfied folks, and I hope to learn from those who express dissatisfaction at my service. However, I am truly heartened by the abundance of positive reviews, and I hope to see you all again in my next location, where ever that may be! :-D P.S.: you all still owe me one hundred million thousand dollars! XD
super slow…therefore long line ups. Not open when the website says it is supposed to be open. Mailbox is taped off so you can't put letters in it yourself, you have to hand it to an employee making you wait in line and also not very confidential. Yes, Shane is nice and helpful but that doesn’t make the line go any faster. People who have to tape, label etc should be asked to move to the side to complete their parcels, so others can get their business done. Susan is awful, she is rude and grumpy. Sometimes your scanner works, sometimes it doesn’t, then the blame is put onto the customer- your label is blotchy, you need to change your ink and their excuses go on and on. Teach your staff how to use the scanner or get a new scanner. One staff member even said ‘here you do it’ so I scanned in all my own parcels. Somehow this doesn’t seem right. And yes I do go to other post offices with no problems, but this one is close to my business and some times I have heavy items and also, time is money. Avoid this location if you can.
My favourite Canada Post location. All the staff are very professional and helpful but Shane takes customer service to a whole new level. I always leave with a smile on my face. He has such a kind, gentle, and warm aura about him that makes a visit to the post office an experience you actually look forward to!
It’s not often you get great service when there’s a huge line at any business. The male clerk with the buzzed hair and glasses was super friendly, quick, efficient, and thorough. I go to Canada Post often between three downtown locations and this was probably the best and most pleasant experience!
