Excellent Post Office service - best in the area. They have 2 desks, so they can handle large orders at 1 desk while the other efficiently does smaller orders. I've used them many times - she was efficient and friendly! and took the stress out of posting large numbers of parcels. Can't recommend highly enough.
On the whole a good post office. Efficiently run and most of the staff are great. However this is the second time I have observed one of the older women treating me differently to the customer in front of me. For her all smiles, please and thank you. For me grunting and hand gestures, despite me saying lots of please and thank yous! She definitely has a problem with certain customers and it’s very obvious. Not good
Always a strange winding non-queue meandering around the shop. It closes and is all packed up by 5pm prompt which means we can’t get there in time after work. Wish our local post office was more practical. Lady at the desk is always polite. The team work fast too.
I recently visited the southfield post office and had a positive experience. The staff were friendly and efficient, making the process quick and hassle-free. The location is convenient, and the post office is well-organized. I appreciated the cleanliness and the helpful assistance I received. The parking facilities were adequate, contributing to the overall convenience. Their use of modern technology streamlined services. While I didn't encounter any issues.Overall, a reliable post office with excellent service.
Unfortunately as the other people mentioned in their review I think this post office does scam! I sent a parcel through this branch days ago and I surprised by the price they charged me which was much higher than the price I found in the main royal mail website! I will report you asap. Just a piece of advice, don’t scam people in different ways! Once I was offered a snack by your staff for free but when I saw the package it was expired! It was very rude of you! When something is expired throw it away! Don’t offer it to people! What would happen if it was a child taking that instead of me!
This is the best post office for me. I have used this branch plenty of times and every visit has been pleasant. The staff are polite, patient and eager to help.
Since this Post Office opened 2018 it has been very efficiently run and managed by a great team. Any issues I have had posting abroad etc they have helped me with a friendly smile. I highly recommend the Post Office in Southfields as it’s a great support for the local area. Thanks so much for all your help over the years.
The worst post office I’ve ever been into. It used to be friendly and easy, in the last 3/4 months the people who run it are rude and unhelpful. There are multiple queues with people getting agro with each other. Wouldn’t take much to sort it out it owners would need to care to make change.
If I had the option to have less than 1 start, I would. I order something from JL and chose click and collect using this post office as the collection point. When I received a confirmation email informing me my package was ready to be collected and when there to doso, the lady being the counter barely helped. She said that every Royal Mail delivery were listed in her book and didn’t bother checking. I tried to show her the confirmation email from the post office but she didn’t even looked. I called JL and they confirmed that it was in fact delivered 2 days before I went to collect it. This is just bad service. JUST BAD. Needless to say I will never use this post office again.
They charge 50p to print a postage label for postage you have already paid for. However, the Post Office website say that you can print from a prepaid QR code for FREE at your local Post Office. Not all of us have printers. Either the website is wrong, or this branch is running a scam operation. I have complained directly to Royal Mail. All of this is done with the usual curt and hurried customer service I have always experienced in this branch. I’ve endured this post office for years. I hate having to come here. I do not recommend. Update: October 2023: I reported this particular issue directly to the Post Office Complaints department. They have just responded by stating that after a thorough investigation, they support my complaint and have upheld my request for a refund. They are now in talks with the area manager and are making sure this feedback gets passed on to this branch.
