It isn't the cheapest place to eat but the food was absolutely excellent with presentation and delivery first rate. I love the triple cooked chips and when I asked they explained exactly how they were made. I went using a wowcher so received a discount but even at full price I think the quality and range of food well worth the money. Looking forward to my next trip. :)

As it was restaurant week in Newcastle I thought I'd try somewhere a little upmarket 2 courses for £15 or 3 courses for £18 I thought was good value for money. Access to the restaurant is via the Hotel Indigo entrance and lounge where a girl confirmed my booking, asked if we would like our jackets hung up and showed us to our table. The restaurant week menu had a decent range of dishes to choose from, I chose the Ham Hock Terrine for starters and the Pan-Fried Coley for mains, my guest opted for the soup of the day (Broccoli & Cream) for starters and Chicken Breast for mains. If you're a big eater I recommend the soup of the day for starters as the soup bowl was quite substantial. The Terrine was a nice light starter, beautifully presented with delicately placed pickled vegetables, I felt a little guilty for 'deconstructing' the little masterpiece. The Pan-Fried Coley with Pistachio crust and shellfish broth wasn't as pleasing on the eye, but more than made up for it in the taste as the broth had my taste buds dancing so much so that I felt the need to ask the waiter (a polite young man called Tom) the name of the Chef (Gary) and tell him that the broth in the Coley was absolutely beautiful! It is worth noting there is a discretionary 10% service charge added to the bill and is clearly stated at the bottom of the menu. I cannot fault the service one bit, I wonder if the service levels may have slipped had it been a busy period - a good excuse to go again! Marco Pierre White Steakhouse.......Impeccable!

Love this place! Staff are lovely, place is clean and the WC' s are very nice! Have been twice for Afternoon tea and have booked again. Will also be booking an evening meal there soon. The only thing I didn't like was them putting on a 10% service charge/tip as I like to tip according to service and not what they request from me.

Afternoon tea with a glass proseco. Delicious selection and plentiful tea or coffee. Recommended. Friendly and helpful staff.

Lovely 3 course meal with Living Social voucher. Staff very attentive, even though restaurant very busy. Menu changes, but duck was beautifully cooked & meal great value.
