Really nice place to have lunch/dinner.

Their goal is to offer typical British food and, for sure, their fish&chips is true to their mission.

Amazing service, staff were friendly and went out of their way to make conversation and have banter. Overheard them being super enthusiastic and fun towards children, and giving someone a birthday treat on another table :) Family friendly, great atmosphere.

Food was tasty and reasonably priced, I went with a family member and went halves on our sides. Dirty burger, sweet potato, croquette was great. Highly recommend rhubarb and custard drink , it sounds weird but is strangely very tasty (lemonade was really good too) with a good size for the glass. Apple crumble was nice as well. 

Would go again.

Went for the restaurant week menu and had the bangers and mash for starters which was delicious. Than had the "proper dirty burger" and that's where the disappointment began.. it was tiny and poorly seasoned with a lot of fluid(couldn't decide if it was water or fat) dripping out of it at every bite. Size wise I asked staff who informed me that at the normal price it is much bigger. For dessert doughnuts that came really hot jet no cutlery were offered. Thickly coated in sugar kept falling apart when dipped in sauces. Overall there was nothing outstanding that would ever make me want to return.

Really tasty food for a meat eater (myself) I had a Chicken Fillet Burger with sweet potato fries. My girlfriends vegetarian and her options were pretty limited, so she opted for cod and chips. We ordered 2 cocktails each, the first was a lemon sherbet which was 2 for £8 and it was very, VERY sour! The customer service was spot on, they were happy to move our table to match our preferences and our food arrived quickly! Would happily return, just hope more vegetarian options become available!

My group had an intu voucher we wanted to get some drink with. They had a great offer on two cocktails, all of which were incredible. I highly reccomend going and having the Parmaviolet. Incredible.
