Excellent central location. Staff extremely helpful. Room was very clean and very well maintained. Did not use eating facilities due to late arrival. The only slight issue was roadside noise. Very good value for money.
Excellent location right by Central station and a short walk into the city centre. We parked at Jamaica Street just adjacent and with a considerable discount if you stay in the hotel. The hotel was super clean and staff were all friendly and efficient. Didn't use the restaurant so can't comment but the breakfast buffet offered a fabulous choice that was continually being refreshed. Tables were also cleaned away quickly. Stephan and his team all seemed to have a genuine rapport with each other which was apparent and lovely to see. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend for anyone thinking of a trip to Glasgow.
My partner and I stayed at the Leonardo Royal Glaagow from Sunday the 23rd of November until Monday the 24,th of November 2025. We had a pleasant stay. The room was spacious, the view was amazing and the breakfast was fantastic with plenty of choice.nnHowever, our room was near the lift which meant that we did hear a lot of noise from the lift of people coming and going as well as being near Glasgow Central Railway Bridge meant we did hear trains coming and going. None of these were truly an issue for us at night while trying to sleep which was good.nnThe only true issues we had was our heating didn't seem to be working properly within our room which we notified staff about as we were checking out. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we couldn't fault them at all. The major issue we found with the hotel is there is no heating at all in the bathroom which means the bathrooms can and do become extremely cold.nnAs someone with Fibromyalgia a condition that hates the cold this isn't great and I stayed myself at the same hotel in the January and I don't remember having that issue. I actually left a glowing review. This stay was a bit more disappointing and even though it was a pleasant stay there is still room for improvement.
The room was clean, though not immaculate, and the bed was comfortable with a decent view. Although it was sold as a suite, it felt quite small—more like a standard double room with a sofa. On the plus side, the price was very affordable.nnUnfortunately, the room was extremely noisy. It lacked soundproofing, and I could clearly hear local trains, as well as noise from the lift and corridors. The food was also disappointing, and I wouldn’t choose to eat there again.nnThe location was good, and the executive lounge was pleasant but not particularly luxurious, offering only basic snacks and juice.
Pleasantly surprised! Any Leonardo I've stayed in previously has always been fairly budget and average. This hotel has clearly had a recent refit and was really nice. Staff were great, lobby and bar areas are really nice, rooms were really modern and comfortable. free bottles of water in the room. I usually stay in one of the nearby Hiltons but this was equally as good at 20% lower price! Location is convenient and close to everything but the street the hotel is on does feel a little rough.
