The Leonardo Royal is a very nice hotel. It is in a very convenient location next to the railway station. Everything smelled clean and fresh as though it has just been refurbished. Our rooms were immaculate and clean. The tea and coffee making facilities with a coffee making machine and a kettle with five different teas including my favourite earl grey, were the best I have seen in any hotel. The staff are very helpful. There's a really nice bar and restaurant and the gym is also very well equipped and modern, with running machines free weights and exercise machines. I will definitely stay at this hotel on my next visit to Glasgow.
Fantastic stay, staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was comfortable, warm and welcoming. Breakfast both morning was lovely, the omelette bar was a must.nThe location was perfect for what we needed 15-20 minute walk from where we needed to be for our gig.nVery happy and will stay here again.
Great weekend stay hotel is well located in city center room over looked the river clyde and central station.nnLarge clean room with big comfortable bed staff were all friendly and helpful also. Even tho the hotel is next to central station it was still quiet at night.
Fantastic! We arrived very early 11AM after a night flight. They checked us in as there was a room available even tho we didn’t request an early check in. This was a really nice for us as we had barely slept and needed to rest a bit. Room is comfortable with all amenities needed, also had a river view. Only downside is the lifts at peak times can take you a while going up and down in the morning.
Lovely hotel and great customer service. All staff have been wonderful. Breakfast - have an amazing selection and they have a omlet bar and had a lovely and cheerful chatty chef on. Great service. But but the dinner service and quality is far from 4 stars. I have ordered a salmon room service and the bar staff told me that the grilled salmon is fried in oil. Well I thought surely not.. well I think it was baked on an oven and long forgotten. It was dry and burnt. It was served with chips - best on the plate! With overcooked mushroom and an very undercooked tomato.. the sauce was extra cost and it had 0 flavour..my friend ordered chicken the same day it was as bad - dry.nAt the price of £23 I expected much better quality food. Somewhat all the other good experiences I had there this have left a bitter taste in my mouth. I wound urge the hotel to review their menu and cooking standards as there is a lot of competition around this hotel.. the only way to stand out.
