Can't complain with the view from the bedroom. I liked the extra features with the iPad controlled room for the blinds, lights etc.nnThe bed was super comfy and absolutely huge! Slept well.nnThe 24/7 cafeteria is a nice touch with plenty of food options available. A little pricey but a few lovely stay with plenty of social spaces.
The hotel is in a perfect location, surrounded by everything you could need, ensuring there's something for everyone to enjoy. The rooms were spacious and very clean, with thoughtful touches like the iPad that controlled the lights, curtains, and more—definitely appreciated. The view from the room was also fantastic ensuring our wants were met. Throughout our stay, the staff were consistently friendly and helpful, always greeting us with a smile no matter the time of day. The only minor issue was that one of the elevators wasn't working properly, but the staff quickly resolved it by directing us to another that worked perfectly.
Exceptional!! Quiet. Not a single sound from anybody. Great location next street to the bus station and shops. Helpful and cheery staff. And the tech is mind blowing. I was in Glencoe absolutely miles away and was able to use the app on my phone to turn the lights on and pull down the blinds. Wish there was a kettle in the room so I could have a hot drink whilst getting changed at 5:30am yes I was up early and didn’t have time to go upstairs to the bar just for a brew!. Other than the kettle issue; this place is a great place to stay and I highly recommend.
Great experience staying at this hotel. We only stayed for 2 nights so the space was alright for us, if you are planning on staying longer then it may be something to take into consideration for you. The iPad you are given has amazing effects, though I would recommend to include the option to raise the level of the metallic blinds in order to clearly see the city. I think the breakfast is a little too expensive. The decorations are great.
Hot sleepers beware! Unfortunately, the air conditioning that is advertised does not work. Everything is controlled via iPad but when trying to adjust the temperature, nothing changes. After calling reception, they will try to adjust the temperature from their end and ask you to wait 45min or call back. Then they will suggest opening the bathroom door and running a cold shower. We did this for a bit but it doesn’t keep the room cool for long because it’s ridiculous to keep the shower running all night. It’s disappointing that the hotel is so expensive and the AC is misleading. Aside from that, the staff is super friendly and the location is great. If you can’t sleep above 22 Celsius/71 Fahrenheit, look elsewhere!
