Story

4 star city centre hotel newly refurbished and rebranded, with 300 spacious bedrooms, 16 dedicated meetings spaces, Juvenate Health and Leisure Club, new concept restaurant Brisket and Cask Bar.

We have over 200 parking spaces situated underneath the hotel and are close to Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations as well as Cowcaddens Subway.

It’s a busy hotel, but the key spaces are too small.nnWe stayed in room 310, 2 adults/1 child for two nights. £450 in Feb 2026 with breakfast.nnThere are only two key lifts off the main reception. The swimming pool is tiny, and really dirty. We popped in on a Friday night at 7PM. nnThe breakfast is great. Really busy after 9AM. The staff work hard and there is a good choice.nnWe didn’t see the ‘clean my room’ sign so we missed out on the basic towels and fresh sheets. There is no fridge or free bottled water in the room. I stay in hotels all over the UK, and these basics are missing and per night, the room feels over priced.nnOur room faces a busy street; I suspect all the rooms do, so if you open the window you will have background street sounds all night long during your sleep.nnI would say it’s a good location for the main city, service is okay, and the room is small, clean and has all you need for a couple of nights.nnAll in all, if I came back to Glasgow, I’d find something else.
My son and I have been coming here for 'a break away' every 2 months for the past year. The rooms are always clean. We always use the swimming pool and hot tub which are lovely. We eat in the restaurant every stay, food is lovely and the staff are just amazing...very welcoming and friendly. Sherry our waitress is just amazing. Thoroughly recommend restaurant and hotel.
Room was not bad. Location was ok. But wow the pool was Abismal. Definitely does not look like the photos on the web. Didly pool, unclean, sauna is the size of my finger nail literally cannot move inside and the steam room was out of order. Water all over the floor, no one bothering to clean it up and the girls changing rooms was even worse - it was like a flood. Hazard waiting to happen! Couldn't even shower or get changed in there. Had to go back to my room in my wet swimming costume to shower. Totally unhygienic!
After a disastrous start in an Airbnb, Holly at the front desk restored our spirits. Incredibly friendly and helpful, she got us into our room quickly and pointed out a great spot for food.nnThe hotel was very nice, clean and a great location. I'm a taller guy and was a bit cramped in the shower between the soap dish and hand bar.nnInclude the nice in house restaurant and this is a hard location to not rebook.
The team at Double Tree by Hilton in Glasgow are outstanding. From check in to check out and everything in between. The care, the going above and beyond, and little personal, professional touches were clear to see during our stay. We stayed on the executive floor room 817 and it was fantastic. Extremely spacious, immaculate condition, and quiet. As soon as we checked in we went for Dinner at the Clyde and Cask which did not disappoint, super yummy and filling, this coupled with the first class service made a great start to the stay. I love the long walk in showers at Double Tree hotels, and the beds seem extra comfortable in comparison to other Hilton hotels like Cardiff Hilton for instance. Breakfast, choice of food, Layout, decor, and service all worthy of a five star hotel. The team should be commended and praises given all round. Thank you for all the effort given. Much appreciated.
