Story

4 star city centre hotel newly refurbished and rebranded, with 300 spacious bedrooms, 16 dedicated meetings spaces, Juvenate Health and Leisure Club, new concept restaurant Brisket and Cask Bar.

We have over 200 parking spaces situated underneath the hotel and are close to Glasgow Central and Queen Street train stations as well as Cowcaddens Subway.

The hotel had a beautiful modern vibe right from the hotel lobby. The rooms were large and comfortable. The service and staff were great, particularly at suggesting good, nearby restaurants to go to.nYou are welcomed with freshly-made warm chocolate cookies. I liked they had good gym and swimming pool facilities.nThe breakfast was nice, though limited. I would say if there were more halal and vegetarian hot food options available, that would've been great. Overall, i had a lovely, memorable stay, and i would definitely recommend it.
Great venue and good location at the top of the city centre. Easy access to transport links and local amenities if needed. The swimming pool is lovely with a small hot tub and small steam room up a spiral staircase.nRooms do require some maintenance and updating but other than that it was lovely.
Our room was very spacious, luxurious and very clean. Some of the halls show aging - but one spends little time in the halls! The room was quiet with a very central location and walking distance to all of Glasgow attractions. The breakfast was excellent offering hot and cold buffet, lovely pastries, great coffee. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Only downside, and this will only impact Diamond members and executive rooms, is that the Executive Lounge was not as nice as we've seen at other Doubletree locations.

Location is great, shame that due to the roadworks part of the road was blocked.nnCharges for parking is a over kill.nnRoom cleaners do not restock on toilet paper. Have to remind the cleaning team to clean the room.nnThere is no water supplied in the rooms as complimentary. Even 3 star hotels offer that as a basic.nnThe Wifi was good and reliable.nnSmall swimming pool, they really need to look into expanding the pool or having a secondary pool somewhere else on the hotel.nnParent feels it's right to bring underage kids into the jacuzzi. However, you can not entirely fault the parents as it has not been signed, posted clearly, nor is any staff member checking up.nnThe lifts are super fast, but there is a downfall. It seeks to get caught between lower ground floor and ground floor when someone presses the button for the lift between these two floors whilst inside the lift you can feel as though you have been trapped inside the lift. It's a scary experience.nnAC does nor work the best. Please fix it.
