Brilliant for train travellers as right next to the station. Although if travelling for leisure you may want closer to seafrontnNice clean rooms with everything you need. Limited food menu but something for everyone. Great breakfast.
Always a pleasure to stay at Leonardo the rooms are spacious very well maintained and extremely comfy. The bathroom again very spacious and all the name it is a perfect lovely power shower excellent lighting the restaurant they do a variety of very well thought out and tasty meals with vegetarian and vegan options and the staff always go above and beyond to make you feel welcome with a friendly and professional service.nnI’d like to special mention to Simona 11/10! Who always greets me with a smile and who there With a solution to any problem.
Spacious and clean rooms and friendly, efficient check in staff. Convenient for taxis, just a few minutes walk away, the train station and bus stops, about a five minute walk, but a little bit out from the tourist areas of Brighton. We weren't disturbed by noise from adjacent rooms or from the outside world in our room. Breakfast has a very good and varied choice and there was no waiting for a table when we were there. All in all, we were happy with our stay and the improvements since becoming a Leonardo are all to the good. Sadly, one thing that has deteriorated since it was a Jury's, is the bar. We came back from a concert in town and thought we'd have a night cap before going to bed. Think again! We weren't late and yet the bar was closed which was a disappointment. None of the night staff showed any inclination to want to serve anyone either. I would have given the hotel 5 stars, but for the fact that a hotel in a lively holiday town, has no night time bar!
Wonderful stay. Beds so very comfortable. Breakfast great and very good selection. Rooms clean and very spacious. Highly recommended. I will definitely stay in one of these hotels again. Excellent location next to the station in Brighton. Very, very comfortable. Slightly lower mark given for service as - later in the day on the first day we were there, after breakfast- I felt one of the staff on the desk was somewhat reserved and I didn't get the information that I asked for. Otherwise all staff were great especially the Ukrainian lady who helped us when we had no cold water in our room.
Not a bad hotel, looks a bit shinier than it really is. The staff were very nice and the room was comfy enough.nThere were just a few little things that if I'm being picky just stopped it from being great.nThe shower gel and shampoo bottle in the room were old and didn't want to work.nThe toilet seat didn't want to stay open.nThe pillows were too hard from one, but too soft for two. The towels were scratchy.nThe breakfast was expensive, and not reflecting the price. The scrambled eggs were watery, the bacon leather hard and the sausages were cheap. There were no pastries, pancakes or fruit bowl and despite diners still eating was cleared away with military precision at 10am.nIt's a great spot if you want to be next to the train station, but a downhill slog to the lanes.nIt looks good, but could be better.
