Overall I really enjoyed the hotel, it was convenient, clean and spacious. My biggest gripe is with the bedding, it is very noisy when moving around and really didn't help have a restful sleep. We also had to sleep with the window open because the room was too warm and never seemed to cool down despite us turning off the heating least we thought we had. The noise from the bus station was also very disruptive to a restful sleep unfortunately.
The small led bedside lights gave nowhere near enough light to read in bed - they might as well not be there. It was very frustrating. Even with all the other lights on in the room, I still couldn't see to read my book.nnIt would be handy to have charging usb's next to the bed.nnThe staff were very pleasant, helpful and friendly and the bed was very comfortable. The rooms are nicely laid out.
A lovely, centrally located hotel that’s perfect for work trips for me, have stayed here several times and wouldn’t choose anywhere else. The staff are amazing and always incredibly helpful. Special thanks to Morgan, Leah, and Matt for consistently providing outstanding support and making every stay a great experience
Comfortable hotel, if a bit dated. Room was clean and tidy, with adjustable thermostat. Staff were super helpful, good location right near the train station. Comfortable beds. Note: No bar fridge in these rooms, so you cannot keep things cold in the room. Restaurants and shops very close by.
We enjoyed our one night stay and were impressed with the staff, standard of service in all areas, cleanliness of our room, ease of contacting reception before we arrived to make special requests. Have been long term users of Premier Inn for similar stays and are now exploring other options following general decline of our experience with them. Will use Leonardo again in preference. Reasons for not giving a 5* rating: lighting in the room, but not the bathroom or corridor, was too dim and there were only 4 hangers in the wardrobe space. Otherwise, very satisfied.
