An excellent hotel based on value and experience. Breakfast one of the best ever had during a hotel stay. Good, secure pay parking facility. I use the hotel laundry often, top service. Rooms to high standard including cleanliness. Location next to High Street location spot on too. Staff happy to assist. I always come back!

Here for the second time, chose upgraded room. Room cold, they cannot warm any more, room tired, mattress awful and sheets smell funky. Location is excellent and staff very good. Price probably reflects this though.

The location of the hotel is great just off union street so a short walk to the music hall, restaurants, shopping centres and bars. There was a queue when we were checking in, but it was quick and easy as staff opened another desk. We asked for extra tea bags, extra pillows, added breakfast to our stay and towels to be changed everyday, nothing was a bother for the staff very helpful and friendly. The room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed tea and coffee facilities, iron and board, hairdryer, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, TV, and telephone. The shower was lovely and warm could have done with a bit more pressure. I gave the room 4 stars only because the air conditioning was noisy for my husband, it didn't bother me. The view from our room see pic was lovely. Our room was quiet from outside noise. The bed was comfy enough, but did request an extra pillow they weren't that comfy. We had dinner in the hotel bar the first night as we arrived late. I have a few food intolerances and the chef and bar staff were great. The food was delicious. The breakfast buffet was tasty, with lots of variety which was good for me with intolerances. I could pick and choose what I could have. Options were cereals, toppings, yogurts, breads, pastries, cooked breakfast, hams cheeses, fruits ect. We would definitely stay here again the staff here made our stay.

The Park Inn is a perfectly adequate hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, the location was excellent, being a 10 minute walk from the train/bus station, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel gym was basic but it had dumbbells up to 15kg, a decent cable machine and a few cardio machines.nnThere is a Wetherspoon across the road, which is ideal for a decent cheap half the price of the hotel breakfast.nnThe thing we didn't like about the hotel/room was the beds! They were rock solid and really not comfortable. We didn't get a quality night of sleep across the 4 nights. It was like sleeping on a park bench! We asked for some sort of mattress topper to make it more comfortable and we were given a single duvet, haha! It was a king sized bed so a single duvet didn't do much.nnWe paid £280 in total for 4 nights which is decent value £70 per night given the location. Would I stay here again? Not sure. If they had rooms with more comfortable beds, then yes, probably.
