This convenient budget hotel is a short distance from the train and bus station.nI had a warm welcome to the hotel and enjoyed my room with excellent views of the harbour. The bed was comfy, the shower had decent pressure and the wi-fi worked well.nI enjoyed the selection at breakfast and a drink in the bar. It made a good base for a city break.
Staff were friendly and helpful from the start. The hotel is nicely situated opposite the harbour and only a few minutes easy ealk.from the train station. Room was quite small but clean and all you need for a night or two stay. We had a room overlooking the harbour so the view was lovely but quite noisy, which was no issue for us as we live on a main road but may bother some people.nBreakfast was lovely, even though it was hot buffet everything was fresh and lovely. Great choice of both hot and continental buffet too.
Great location next to the docks. Room great if a little warm. Staff were excellent. Breakfast was great. Nice and warm. W minutes from union street which was ideano parking at hotel but zn ncp car park next door. If you ask at reception they will give you a promo code to get parking cheaper.
A delightful place to stay in the harbour area! Comfortable well-appointed and clean, the Ibis Aberdeen offered excellent accommodation over the course of our stay. Helen, who checked my wife and I in, oriented us to the city and was friendly and helpful throughout. Other staff members were consistently courteous and genuinely helpful. We’d certainly stay at the Ibis Aberdeen if we return to Aberdeen and highly recommend it to if you’re looking for affordable, conveniently-located and comfortable accommodation with hotel staff that take hospitality seriously.
Good location and overlooking the harbour, there is quite a hill to climb and it can be a difficult one with cases. Greeted at reception and due to pre booking on the app I paid for my stay and was given my room key, was explained about Breakfast times and shown how to use the Lift. Very nice decor and clean, the room was ideal for myself. Tea and Coffee supplies were plentiful, but could have perhaps provided a local Scottish biscuit as a treat. Shower instead of a bath thank goodness and plenty of room in there. The bed was the usual hard mattress and pillows weren't the softest, reasonably good nights sleep.nBreakfast was plentiful but no Lorne Sausage, white/black pudding or scrambled egg. Booking out process was very easy, will i be back? Sure will
