Had a horrible night. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything from the rooms next door. Our room was between a family with kids and someone who watched TV the whole night, didn’t sleep much. Really small beds.nnFurthermore, there is no AC and its hot like in a sauna!nnBreakfast was really good though.
Holiday inn express was brilliant. Excellent accommodation clean well serviced rooms and a first class breakfast. Plenty of choices catered for and good quality products with the exception of the sausages they used. We did not eat them after the first day. The staff are their best assets as they were all so happy polite and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Price was excellent for our stay. We will stay here again.
Stayed for one night and unfortunately we won't be staying again. The positives are the hotel is right in the city centre so walking distance to everything in town and the staff were very friendly.nThe negatives though outweighed everything else. The room was so hot and there's no Aircon it was like a sweatbox. We asked if they had a fan which they didn't so we had to open the window the 10mm it would open. This meant however the noise could get in and it's extremely noisy. There was no main light in the room as it wasn't working so we had to see using the little desk lamps they had. Lastly the mattress was horrendous so couldn't sleep for long when we did finally drop off. All in all it's not been a good experience.
Well first of all I must say, it is the first time I have stayed in a Holiday Inn, done Premier Inns to castles, this was a third of the price of the Premier Inn, because of the cost we weren't expecting much, but wow, was I wrong, the rooms are smaller but have everything you need and more, a sofa to sit on and watch TV. As you walk in you have a little cafe area with lovely comfortable seating, staff are so polite and friendly they are a real credit, everything is bright and clean.nThe last test was all down to the sleep and breakfast, well i slept like a log, and breakfast was amazing, and, it was hot.nThat was the first day, watch this space for more, and hopefully some photos to back up. It is also worth pointing out that it is within walking distance of the shops, and dead opposite a cracking bakery.nOn the whole so far, for less than £400 we are having bed and full breakfast for 6 days, can't fault it.
Stayed here recently with my partner on a visit to my family who stay in Aberdeen. We checked in around 11.30pm on a Saturday night, staff were friendly and helpful, room was ideal for a budget hotel. Clean and tidy, good water pressure in shower and breakfast was a good selection in the morning. Would stay again
