We were staying locally on holiday, and I brought my 15 month old to Jungle Town quite a few times, as we were so close by and it was a great way to let him charge around. As a parent I really liked the themed role play element - most children's facilities boil down to a room full of toys, which is fine as it goes. However JT is a far more interesting take, allowing for really imaginative play. At my son's age the themed element was probably largely lost on him, but I'm sure it would be fun for much older children because of it. For his part he absolutely loved it, exploring all the areas and getting stuck in. None of the toys were too old for him, and I felt equally happy sitting back and letting him get on with it, or playing with him. It was never very busy when we're there, though I assume that varies quite a lot depending on the season and day. The price was a slightly mixed bag. The "per visit" seemed pretty high at £5.30, but I bought a month long pass for £15 which I think represents a far better deal - we were only in the area for a week and I still feel like we got good value as we went back so often. I hope this type of play centre becomes more common. If I lived in the area I reckon I'd be camped out there most of the time...

My two-year-old had such fun at Jungle Town! It was lovely watching him play with all the wonderful toys (his favourite was the construction site). As a parent, I found it less hectic and stressful than soft play because I could see him at all times. At soft plays, I often have to go searching for him! Would definitely recommend Jungle Town. :)
