Small and pretty town. Has a history to the place since it belongs to Shakespeare. You can walk the town in an hour or so.. if weather's good you may find lots of street food and people out on streets with their families and pets. Dancing, singing, boating, walk and enjoyment is the only thing you would see all around. Its like a small festival in the town. Good to visit.

It's a good place to see the plays as it is a more 'intimate' theatre. The restaurant is good - excellent food & service. The café is also worth a visit. The theatre tours are very informative - you get a good look behind the scenes. If you go up the tower, you get an excellent view over the town. The shop has a good range of gifts.

It was magnificent. The theatre was amazing, the staff were super friendly, and the performance was spell binding. The theatre is very easy to find if you are coming by rail; come out of the station and stay to the right and walk to the main road @ 250 meters and then stay on that road until you come to the river and the theatre will be on the right side @ 1.25 km. Come early because there are a ton of neat places to grab a bite and a drink. Don't forget to preorder your intermission drinks.

We love the RS shows. Performances are exceptionally well done. The theater itself is well presented and the cafe and restaurant both do reasonable food if you haven't managed to get s bite to eat before the show. We will continue to come back as much as we can

The food here was fabulous. Chicken breast skin seared perfectly. Sauce flavorful and an excellent match to the food. Service was attentive. Plus you have a great view while dining.
