£8.80 per adult ticket. It’s interesting to while away some time on a rainy day. Would be great for young kids and teens. Interesting little inventions - mechanical engineers and artists at work. Clever people.
My daughter was there with her school about 1 year ago. We were walking close to the Mad Museum and she said she would like to go there again so I went there with her. I really enjoyed it she also liked everything. Very interesting place, especially for children, so they can see creativity
The MAD mechanical and art design museum was great fun for us adults and the kids too. Lots of great exhibits/installations that are turned on by hovering over the buttons. Also a few large marble exhibits allow hands on fun. Reasonably priced at £25 for family of four
Small but brilliant! So many amazing things to see, plus a few things to play with. Everything is sensor or lever activated to keep kids busy. Only a few doors away from Shakespeares birthplace, and a short walk to the river and markets if they are on make a great family day out
So much fun but beware of school kids. Check their website for when they are not expecting a group to arrive. Had so much fun trying to build our own marble run. Although upstairs there is a lift so wheelchair accessible.
