I recently went into Darcy's for a repair...I have had repairs and bought goods from there before and I felt the need to give them some feedback...I saw Kim who was so helpful and obviously passionate about her business and the customer care they provide. Her knowledge was very good and although this is a small shop it has some great items and a million steps ahead of the big impersonal boys for a friendly welcome.
A charming, long-standing family businesses in the City of Peterborough. Quality products and helpful staff, such a shame it is closing down after over 140 years of operation.
Thank you so very much for replacing the stone in my wife's engagement ring after it was lost. The ring originally came from there some 25+ years ago and the great service is still as good as it was then. Thank you.
JW D'Arcy are a long-established family-run jewellery business and one of the few independent jewellers in the city. They stock a range of gold, silver and platinum rings and a number of well known brands of watches for ladies and gents.They also stock a range of gifts ideal for christenings, birthdays and anniversaries.
Went in the knowing the weight of the gold pendant i was selling and had no use for, asked the lady to weigh it just to check out their integrity, lady takes it out the back cones back 16 grams,,,,,i know its 18 as i weighed it and have a receipt fron when i bought it,,,,,,oh ok i said, how much will you pay for it??, erm shoots off out the back again before reappearing,, £110 ,,,, chuckling away to myself,,,no actually 120 if you dont tell anyone,,,pahahahahaha, tried to mug me, went to another shop and got the true value, double what they offered, dont recommend you use them funnily enough
Always love this shop, always good quality items for sale. Good at repairs too.
Family run business since 1924 at the same shop , service ok, choice limited.
What a load of rubbish prices to high for the value of item , and the lady there will rob you blind even if you old , disabled or anything she's a crook , horrible person , she well over charged my grandad . Dont go there
They repaired my new ring, prompt service and very efficient
It's closing down but was a great jewellers!
