This department star is fun even if you just walk through. They have an overall good selection and the 2nd floor has a very nice restaurant and coffee shop with bakery. Wonderful place to pick up true Scottish made goods.
Beautiful old department store. I recommend entering through the back on Rose St to avoid the chaotic front cosmetic area. They have some wonderful brands from the UK, and a lovely restaurant and cafe. Great for gifts and souvenirs, however it is quite expensive. The Christmas decorations are amazing !
Classic Edinburgh department store with a beautiful open "courtyard" area, all the shopping departments you can think of, 3 cafes and a restaurant. The store is a bit rundown in places but retains its classic charm nonetheless. I always find some shopping bargains here whenever I visit. Service is courteous and friendly.
Main restaurant on level 2 has great lunch choices, was very impressed with the pork roast not to mention the fantastic view of the Scot Monument. This is my review purely for their food - shopping wise this place is, what the Brits would call, 'pants'.
Amazing! Even if you never buy anything hete it's lovely just to stroll around. They often have great deals on also so you might be able to treat yourself! The staff are helpful and friendly also. Everyone needs to visit at Christmas just to see the tree. It is breathtakingly beautiful. Great place to get into the Christmas spirit and also get away from the cold of the markets.
Typical House of Fraser store with a stunning balcony and architecture. There’s a restaurant on the 2nd floor which offers afternoon tea which comes with an amazing view. The scone and the cakes taste good. Shame that the service at the restaurant in not that great. There are dirty tables everywhere, you have to clear the table yourself as nobody is there to take away dirty plates and trays. The floor is dirty, looks more like a fast food restaurant than you would expect from HoF. The table with the cakes is not filled up, there are empty plates everywhere.
A slight more up market House of Frasier. Great should you need a dress or some garms, but nothing to write home about.
A good commercial centre in Edinborough.. They had a good quality and variety of products. It is not a new one, but it is refurbished with and old remminescence, but all the commodities and products of our times. There are a restaurant and bar, with good quality food products. If you ever go to Edinboroughm it is highly recomended to visit it.
So popped in here on a loo run lol.. toilets located on the 3rd floor which required some navigation! Anyway, finally found it but this see picture was the best! Absolute beautiful view of the shop layout..
Worth a visit to experience an old style department store. House of Frazer contents, which has a variety of concessions. A bit more like an indoor market really.
