This review is for The Orangery restaurant within. Cannizaro House. When booking a table for afternoon tea, I spoke with Rita, who was attentive, friendly, professional, down to earth, and helpful in not only educating me on the difference between tea time and afternoon tea which requires a booking but also in advising me on the best way to book without the risk of losing my deposit. Please give Rita a pay rise and extra holidays for her conscientious service.
I recently visited Hotel Du Vin Wimbledon and it was an incredible experience! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The coffee and hot drinks were a highlight – they were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I left feeling completely satisfied and relaxed. I can’t wait to return and would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!”
Absolutely adore this place, especially the lobby lounge which I often frequent to read in peace. Gentleman behind the bar today3rd Jan 25 in the afternoon was stellar. Refilled my tea with hot water and a new teabag! Also came round with mint&cucumber water 2.0 which was so kind and attentive of him, thank you whoever you are!!
Beautiful hotel in a great location and exceptional room rate value when you consider what else you might end up with in London for sub £150 a night. Beyond expectations. Agreed with prior reviews however the breakfast and room service menu rates are a bit much. I suppose that's just the mode of operation - but don't lose sight of how easily customers can order Uber eats these days!
Beautiful hotel, with great bar staff.nnService a little slow for attentiveness/ drinks in restaurant.nnFab office space for meetings. If you get the glass side room you will be blown away! Although power sockets are limited as no extension leads for laptops.nnLovely shower and facilities in room but note the bath plughole twister was broke. Managed to push it down and have a bath but getting back up to let water out impossible nnThe place as per last year could do with a better lunch menu maybe simpler sandwiches or panini's as lunch and dinner choices are 90% the same.nnLovely walks out into the gardens
