We booked a Christmas meal at the Fire Stables for a group of us. The booking and pre-ordering system was straight forward and easy to use. When we arrived, we did not have to wait for our table, the bar/restaurant was very welcoming and beautifully clean. The food was amazing and served in good time. I would most definitely recommend the Fire Stables, and hope to visit again soon.

Service was perfect! The woman who met us was polite and promptly found us a table despite not having a reservation (which I think is preferred), brought the menus and provided water without any fuss. Our waiter was excellent! Whilst taking our order, he answered all of our questions in regards to ingredients and allergies and was able to accommodate the children's requests for changes from both the regular and kids menus. The food was enjoyed by all: roasted camembert & chutney, salmon cakes, burgers and roast chicken lunches. The decoration was a little more up market than a regular pub, super comfy and pretty cool. Lots of great knick knacks, paintings etc Definitely worth a visit (and hopefully someone would have given the loos some TLC in the meantime).

A date night and friday evening well spent!!! A warm and relaxing environment, delicious food & wine ... all accompanied by live music (Friday nights only I believe). The whisky sour to start and espresso martini to end where both delicious winners!

Had family here for roast meal....food great but cold. Told the manager and she said that's not normal...usually on hot plates....then I see her serving same roasts without napkin or anything...so no hot plates. Very disappointing I was eating food fast as it was getting cold 3 family members took food back ....these are 70 and 80 year olds Make sure your food is on hot plates.. .

My husband and I went there last weekend with my in-laws and were pleasantly surprised by the cosy, stylish interiors, the friendly service and the quality of food served here. We ordered bread as starters, which came out nice, fluffy and fresh out of the oven. I ordered fish and chips which was fantastic. The fish tasted lush. The chips were straight out of the oven and thick cut. We didn't have any room for dessert which I'm sure would have definitely matched the standards set by the starter and main! We will definitely be back again!
