Food was great. Service was… odd. Felt as though the staff weren’t particularly interested and each time they visited the table, they left again as quickly as possible without checking if there was anything more we needed. This resulted in us having to leave the table to ask for cutlery between the starter and main, which wasn’t delivered with the food. Attention to detail was lacking: there was something dried onto the pepper grinder; limescale covering the stopper on the water bottle; chips out of some of the crockery we were given.
We rented the front of the bar for my parents 50th wedding anniversary surprise!. It went so smoothly, thanks to the above and beyond service from Yiesha and Sav. Throughout the whole booking process Yiesha answered my every question and nothing was ever too much hassle. We had 45 people in the end and the venue size was perfect. The food was delish, everyone was well fed and satisfied from the events menu we nearly doubled the serving quantities but it still worked out great value per person as everyone had 1-2 little plates full. The crayfish cocktail in particular got loads of complements. Very glad we chose the Firestables for our celebration. Just look at the beautiful display they put together for our cake and toast
Really impressed with everything about the Fire Stables. Very friendly staff and fast service. Great atmosphere and dog friendly. We both had a roast dinner - mine was great, my partners beef slices were tough. However they kindly took money off the bill not expected by us, but a kind gesture. So very impressed with their customer service.
We used to visit The Fire Stables and have recently made a return. Its a great local restaurant/pub. The staff are attentive but not over bearing and extremely friendly and professional. The food is great and piping hot. Its a great place to visit for brunch, lunch or dinner with friends or family. You won’t be disappointed. Vegetarian options: Not many vegan options but the plant burger I’m told was great. The special of the day was excellent too. Parking: Free on Sunday and plenty of pay to park at other times nearby. We walked as it is close to home!
They have some of the amazing vegan options which is why I love to go there. The quality of the their food and ambience are wonderful. They excel in providing great customer service. I would like to mention especially about one of their staff named Maria who was very friendly and excellent at work.Food: 5/5
My first Sunday Roast and it was perfect… beautiful plates and flavors and the service really good… Jose was great!Food: 5/5
We usually book the Ivy when friends and family come over to visit but it was fully booked and this place was suggested by a friend and were so glad we went here. The service was amazing. Jose was so attentive, we were quite a big group but his attention and service was fantastic. The food was really delicious and the servings were big. The roast plates were one of the best ones we had. The atmosphere was brilliant, the decor was nice and the whole restaurant including the restrooms were spotless. Thanks again Jose for looking affer us! We are definitely coming back and you will be the first choice over the ivy now.
I had one of the best Sunday roasts I have had in a long time, really tasty and well presented. I love that I can bring my dog along as well. The staff are friendly enough if a little aloof and it can be quite echoey at the back which was difficult for my dad who uses hearing aids. But when we have be seated in the front area that was not an issue at all so we just request that when possible.
Walking around Wimbledon village looking for a great dinner we stumbled upon the Fore Stables! The staff was super accommodating we were a bit annoying asking for a comfortable table and had people join us by surprise, shoutout to Hiteshi for being patient with us and helped us out with what we needed. We also got to taste and choose the wine of our preference! The food was very tasty and flavorsome. Massive Fish&chips, perfectly cooked steak. But the winner of the dinner was the prawn starter. Will definitely recommend to others and return for a Sunday Roast!
