The location was great for a quick trip to the airport for an early morning flight. The room was nice with comfy beds and plush pillows. Would have liked an additional blanket. Staff was friendly and helpful for the most part. Asked about locally eateries and they wouldn't give a recommendation because it takes money away from their on site restaurant.
Perfect for those needing to be at the airport early the next morning!! - the beds are comfortable and the room has majority of the necessities you need too. The food in the restaurant at the hotel was good and a great start to our holidayRooms: 5/5
It’s a really good hotel good location. From the hotel you do have to walk across a rather busy street while there are crosswalks they really inconvenient but you can run across the street go right into the train station/bus station of the airport and walk to your terminal. They do offer a shuttle. I think it was either five or 10 pounds to use it per person. Therefore, I recommend just walking into the station at the airport. The restaurant at the hotels is fine. Breakfast is good. Dinner is fine. The service is also quite good. The rooms are all clean. Well kept maintenance is clearly done on time. The staff is friendly and very helpful if you have any questions on how to get into the airport or get around if you’re just visiting, they seem very knowledgeable and willing to assist.
A really good hotel which is a 5 minute maximum walk to the airport and railway station. Very welcoming, good facilities, restaurant and bar area. I eat a pizza in the bar and it was very reasonably priced for a hotel and actually very nice too. The room was great, excellent shower, comfortable bed and really modern and functional.
It was easy to walk here from the train station at night and to the airport terminal the next morning, and the rooms were spacious and nice - exactly what I would expect from a Hilton. We slept comfortably and mostly soundly. It was at the right price point too. I appreciated a clothesline being over the tub since we had some damp items to hang up. There was some commotion around 1AM from a rude guest, but it didn't last long. The only major negative was that the front desk was condescending when I asked for a wakeup call. He could have just said the hotel doesn't do those; there was no need to laugh at me and state that it was 2024 and that's what alarm clocks are for. Of course I was already going to set an alarm clock; I was looking for an extra step of security for waking up on time for my flight!
Hair everywhere. Towels dirty. Even complimentary slippers are grubby and greenish yellow. Not to usual hilton specs. Disappointed with the room more than anything and just checked in. Plus room is hot with a lot AC unit that takes forever to cool the room down. Not happy and I have 2 nights booked. Rooms: Outdated and grubby
Stopped here again but can't find where I leave another review. Staff were great again. Location is brilliant for flights. Rooms are well looked after and modern. Not one complaint, always look for this hotel - even when just going into Manchester.
The perfect hotel stay for an early morning next day flight out of MAN. The staff is very friendly, the room very clean and quiet, the food did the job. There is a very cheap shuttle service that can be booked in advance that will take you straight to a terminal of your choice. Easy easy, thank you. Choose this hotel if you are looking for an airport stay. Noteworthy details: Book the shuttle in advance to go straight to the airport. Takes 5 minutes and is very cheap.
The Hotel’s biggest asset is its biggest drawback. It is near to the airport yet not so near that you could walk. After 9:00 pm they don’t offer pick up or drop, no taxis want to go there. With manchester’s cold/rainy weather, it’s horrible if you have a late or early flight. Not friendly for elder guests, if you have luggage or with disability. The staff is extremely rude, unfriendly and frankly don’t care about residents. Ordered room service, the food was stale and unpalatable! Booked their most expensive suite. Rooms in the ground floor with low ceilings! Absolute pathetic and horrible stay
genuinely the worst night of my life. had my flight cancelled and stayed here as it was an overnight delay. i wanted to take a relaxing bath and as soon as i stepped in, the pipe behind the toilet started leaking and gushing to the point of soaking the entire bathroom floor and my favourite socks with poo water. i asked to change rooms and the snotty staff member reluctantly gave me a different one AFTER taking a look and claiming he couldn’t see any water leaking?? the other room was no better. it was so incredibly boiling and stuffy but the windows don’t open and the air con wasn’t working as the room seemed old and run down. same snotty man gave me a fan. after all this all i wanted was a meal and a bed. i called room service and they said i had to come DOWNSTAIRS to put credit on my account and then go back UPSTAIRS to order again. so off i went to reception to put credit onto my account only for him to tell me it was a £50 minimum. what. do not waste your money in here, it’s definitely not hilton standard and they’re taking the piss. would give this zero stars if i could
