We stayed for the weekend in December 2017 as a couple. Firstly the host was incredibly friendly and welcoming. We arrived quite late and she welcomed is, showed us our room and the bathroom facilities. We were in a double room with no en suite. Thankfully the bathroom was just outside the door room two and the toilet next door, so this wasn't an issue. The room was big enough for two, and whilst there was no wardrobe, there were hangers and suitcase storage, plus a desk with a drawer. There was a mirror of ample size and two seats. The room itself was aged but clean, and the whole building was very well heated. All in all it was an excellent stay for the incredibly cheap price! Would definitely visit again.

Stayed here in a 3 bedded room for Pride. En suite bathroom with shower and toilet facilities. Opposite our room was another toilet and a separate bathroom with shower and bath. Clean and comfortable beds and tea and coffee making facilities. The landlady/receptionist was really lovely and amiable. Will definitely stay here again for our next Manchester visit

Really friendly hotel staff. We checked in no problem enjoyed drinks at the bar, and settled in no problem. Sleeping comfort was great. Price was very reasonable, and hotel location was fantastic for Manchester Academy and restaurants.

Simple but homely and comfortable room which was clean and warm. Shared bathroom was well fitted and had a separate bath and new shower cubicle.

Expensive for what you get, bathroom had mould, 2 of us stayed and only enough hot water for one.  Wouldn’t suggest it to anyone unless a last resort.

Very decent and good reception... easily accessible to coach and private vehicles

Cheap, basic and clean. Free parking. Nice host

Nice quaint & clean place for the night. Close to transport and some night life to the south
