Stayed here in 2021 in the suite I edited errors in my review so says Sept 2024 . Lovely, spacious room with a lovely interior design. Overall very comfortable room choice. However, the room is not in its best standard. For example, there was ash between the window ledge pretty shocking and the toilet seat wasn’t securely fixed to the wall very unfortunate and uncomfortable for me. Additionally, the lift was not working which meant I had to take a really long walk through the hallways to get to the lift at the back or use the stairs to get to floor 6. This took away from the peaceful feel. When the lift started to work again, it stopped at every floor… The bar staff I interacted with was very nonchalant. Not great customer service - I felt as if I was bothering him. However, the receptionists were lovely when checking in and out! Overall, lovely room to stay in and lovely location too.
We have been staying at this hotel at each visit in London since 2002 and every time I felt like I was coming home. Great staff and breakfast never let me down. I love the spacious gym and lots of machines to do your workout with. Rooms are great and modern. I truly recommend it.Rooms: 5/5
I stayed here a few years ago, about the time they had refurbished - at this stay it most definitely felt like a 4 star hotel. This most recent stay it did not! The service was fabulous but the rooms were dated, the complimentary toiletries and refreshments felt mediocre, the TV and air con did not work , neither did the ice machine. The room service food was delicious and hot as was the food in the bar. After my stay I read they will be closed next year for a complete renovation - maybe then I'll give it another try.
I have visited K West Hotel & Spa on 3 different occasions now, some to stay the night & some to make use of the facilities. The location is great— The hotel is on a backroad tucked away so you are away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but still conveniently located, just a stones throw away from several underground/overground stations, Westfield shopping centre and Shepherds Bush Green shops/salons/restaurants/etc all within a 5 minute walk. The staff are friendly and helpful and so far I’ve not encountered any bad service. The hotel rooms are spacious, and the pillows are very comfortable. However, the cleanliness levels aren’t up to scratch for me, you can tell it is a bit of a rushed cleaning job. On my most recent stay, I found hairs in the shower and sink and things/dust under the bed, and the room & hallways which was an upgrade might I add just felt a bit dingy. Also forget about a nice view, if you are given a room below reception you’ll just be staring at a brick wall. Also, the rooms are not soundproof at all. The spa is small but nice, the changing rooms are clean and dry. Again just showing it’s age a little. They have some decent deals for spa use and massage packages but limited availability so pre-book. Overall, it’s a nice hotel with good customer service but needs some upgrading— Small additions like a bottle opener, robes, slippers, better decor could really help the place.
Hotel is nice, spa leaves much to be desired, two water jugs that get filled every now and then, ice room not working. Spa itself has a musty smell. The person on the front desk at the spa was superbly nice and helpful.Rooms: 5/5
I recently stayed at the K West Spa Hotel in London. The receptionist upgraded us to an executive room, which was spacious and comfortable. The bed was especially comfortable, and the bathroom was well-appointed. The hotel is located in a good area, close to Shepherd's Bush Underground Station and Westfield shopping mall. There are also a number of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. They were able to answer all of my questions and make my stay as comfortable as possible. However, I was disappointed that breakfast and the spa were not included in the price of the room. Breakfast was £25 per person hot or £20 pp continental, and the spa for 1hour was £15 per person if you have booked a treatment or £25 with no treatment. I felt that these were quite expensive, especially considering that the hotel is not a 5-star hotel. Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the K West Spa Hotel. However, I would not recommend upgrading to an executive room unless you are willing to pay extra for breakfast and the spa. Here are some pros and cons of the hotel: Pros: Spacious and comfortable rooms Well-appointed bathrooms Friendly and helpful staff Good location, close to public transportation and shopping Cons: Breakfast and spa not included in the price of the room Spa facilities are a bit small Some of the facilities are showing signs of wear and tear Overall, I would give the K West Spa Hotel a 4-star rating. It is a good hotel, but it is not without its flaws. If you are looking for a luxurious stay, I would recommend staying at a different hotel not overly priced and includes using the spa facilities and breakfast for the duration of your stay. However, if you are looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay in London, the K West Spa Hotel is a good option. Rooms: Spacious executive room
The stay at the hotel was absolutely fantastic!!! They have lovely range of food and it’s all very yummy but don’t even get me started on the bar and the drinks Blagica and Ali took such good care of us there : Rooms are very comfortable and if there was any issues they took care of it right away! Definitely recommend!!!!
Loved my stay! Stayed the night with the Spa time package. Room was spacious, only slight problem was the TV started glitching after 11pm. The food in the evening and breakfast was cooked to perfection. The spa was relaxing and also had the scrub and massage by Julia. She was lovely, professional and great technique! Would definitely go again!
I can't express how utterly let down I felt after my stay at this hotel. The £200 for a single night seemed reasonable from the pictures, but reality was far from it. We arrived promptly at 3 PM, but found ourselves waiting 20 long minutes for the staff member who had disappeared to speak with her manager, offering no explanation upon her return. It was already 3:30 PM when we were told our room wasn't ready due to late check-outs. The excuses were frankly appalling and the service abysmal. To make matters worse, our room's heating and AC were disabled from the admin panel, and we had to wait another 15 minutes for someone to turn it on—only to have it set at a frustratingly low setting. We had to hurry to get ready, ultimately missing our reservation. And to add insult to injury, we returned to a freezing room. The next morning, we discovered the absence of hot water in the shower. Maintenance needed time to fix it and offered to move us, but we weren't keen on relocating in our PJs. A mere 20% refund was a poor consolation. In hindsight, we could've stayed at an IBIS for the same price, with better service, functioning heating, and hot water. Our experience was nothing short of a massive disappointment. Rooms: Needs updating
Good points were that the room was spacious at least with our chosen room type and the location was reasonable. Bad points were there were multiple old blood stains both on multiple pillows not pillowcases and bed sheets. Also one bed sheet had a hole. Also one of the days, our house keeping services was not done although we took off the do-not-disturb-sign there was no sign for house keeping. We found out that around 22:00 after coming back to the room. When we called the reception, a lady said they are sometimes short-handed so if we like to prioritize our room for house keeping, we should have informed the reception, which was odd anyways, and never really explained upon check-in it was the same receptionist, as we saw her beforehand as coming back to the hotel. So we asked for clean towels at least, which took about 30mins to be delivered. Next morning, as instructed, we asked the receptionist not to skip the house keeping this time and change the bed sheets since there were multiple old blood stains and a hole, which we noticed on the first day anyways, and even leave a note on the bed for a house keeper asking to change the sheets, but they did not do it. They were still the same sheets with same old blood stains from the previous hotel guests. The building itself is rather outdated despite of the couple of good photos on the facade. The curtain was not so cleverly installed, so the room was already bright at 5:00AM every morning. The shower drainage was just impossible. The water accumulates up to an ankle level so one has to wait for few minutes after every few minutes to drain. We asked the receptionist to fix it at the first morning, but never really got improved. The best part of staying at this hotel was to finally be able to check-out and learned that we never have to stay at K West ever again.
